clueless, even against 10 they had absoloutely no idea, bottom of table now and play like this and they wont be leaving there anytime soon.
town, get the fuck out of this league, cant stand much more of these sort of matches imagine paying 21 quid for that today

They were utterly abysmal, some of their players looked liked they'd never seen a football before.
I'd be shocked if The Farmer is still in charge of them by the end of the weekend.

It took them until the 60th minute to realise they didn't need 4 defenders to mark one striker.

Was just gonna make this thread myself! One of the worst teams I've seen for a long, long time. Their squad isn't even that bad on paper, certainly not as bad as bottom of the league. Wasn't surprised to hear a couple of anti Hutchings chants, obvious sacking but they've got a Davy-esque owner so might not be as immanent as it should be.

Walsall - completely toothless today, any sort of decent side would've put us to the wall in that first half but their fans who came on here yesterday said that was what they're like. Good luck to them for the rest of the season - they're really gonna need it.

Walsall have a prick of a chairman who seems to be at war with the supporters
They are going down for sure - shame really a decent club

Yes they were poor when we down to 10 men but until then they were playing the better football & were making us look like the poor side we are.

Does that really matter though moaner? We have all bemoaned town for being soft as the proverbial and losing games we dominated - just for once lets be happy at second spot with a win that was hard earned and grafted for rather than with quality football. NO team gets out of this league playing silky football all the time - the teams that do get promoted grind out results and we have done that today.

I remember us going top & then losing the next 3 without scoring & getting battered at Rochdale so i ain`t getting carried away with being 2nd,besides we`re nearer relegation than top of the league

Fair play lads, you call it as you see it! No complaints there, except we've been much worse! Be glad you dont have to sit through that each game! Its utter garbage, as i been saying to you all week. Just have to look at the comments forum.web-fans.com/viewforum.php?f=4 we are at the end of tether. We're 5 points behind safety already and our next games: Peterborough Bournemouth Carlisle Sheff Wed Oldham Charlton Southampton Where's the next points coming from...................... :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: Well done Hutch you've sent us on a season long taxi to League Two.

Couldnt we have said the same thing about rhodes early last season moaner? I think most of us agree we havent hit any real heights yet, but there is undoubted quality in the squad - i think most if not all managers in league 1 would take clarke, peltier, bennett, smithies, johnson, pilks, roberts to name but seven at a stroke! I have lost count the number of times we have been brilliant one week and filled with optimism only to be crushed by being utter shite the next - i cling onto the hope that this season that extra experience in the squad will pay huge dividends as the suspensions/injuries bite our competitors more than us!

You can dress it up but i`m sorry mate we`re not good enough & while Clarks here we never will be.

Can't argue against anything you good people have written, as Walsall were awful. had a pretty good view of the sending off incident and thought the home fans very hard on Mannie Smith. It was simply a very poor game to suffer. Walsall didn't make the numbers advantage work at all. Very devoid of ideas. Couldn't believe dog-face subb'd John Macken.... he and Reid should have been on. Any other team would have sacked the manager on a run like this. Think we're stuck with him forever. Off to the pub to sink a few being as due to several accidents on the M6 didn't get to the Mac till 2.30pm so sadly no Gas Club. Set the tone for a bad afternoon...

well look at it this way.
We're not playing well... but we're second. If we can show any kind of the form we are capable of we should absolutely piss this league. However, it wouldnt take much of a dip in form for us to be struggling just like Walsall.

As for we never will be under Clark, dont tell me, Danny Wilson is much the better option cos swindon are really flying at present! Nobody is window dressing anything - i said throughout last season i thought we were short of what was needed and we were - i dont think we are this season though as there arent three teams like norwich, leeds and millwall this term not to mention charlton and soton who were both better last season to this stage than they have been this. We do need to improve, but at least this season its not playing hopeful catch up from at least 10 pts back by this time for an automatic slot.

Dont think anyone least of all clark is happy with the way we are playing right now, but the season lasts 46 games and having been to 9 of the 14 league games so far i havent seen a team better than us. BHA have had a great start - but dont forget charlton last season, nor indeed leeds who only just limped over the line despite investing more in jan than brighton will be able to.

Town arent playing great but we generally are picking up the results and thats why we are 2nd. A good run of 4-5 games from any team 2nd to 12th will see any team come straight into big contention. We will probs see a better picture by the end of Feb, but at least Town are in there competing.
Brighton will go through a bad patch, their squad don't look like they can go through the whole season without going through a sticky patch, loss of form, suspension, injuries etc.
