I applaud this gesture & wish them all the best.
I would also hope that it gains wider visibility and makes the powers that be sit up and take note that they need to do something about unscrupulous owners. There are plenty more Chairmen/owners at all levels that need investigating on many different fronts & you could repeat this exercise at many clubs every saturday.
I fear it will all fall on deaf ears though and as long as the 'football family' and the people at the top are creaming off a nice lifestyle their efforts to clean up the game will be no more than lip service...

If all premier league players gave up half a weeks wage it would probably fund plymouth for the next three years, keep em in ginsters pies and pay for the admiral car insurance.. Football is sick

I'm afriad football has its priorities wrong at times.
the greedy league seems to have no regards for the other end of the ladder. Without Clubs like Plymouth in the league, our famous league structure means nothing
Good luck lads.

feel devastated for the team and the fans but it already feels like were reading their obituary...is there really absolutely no chance of survival for this team?

My mate is a Argyle fan and he's reckons it's just a matter of time.
Could have been us not so long ago. The English is unique in that we have 4 full time leagues, not to mention countless part time leagues and if we start losing some teams then the magic of English football starts to fade
