second in league - just got a point away from home against a team who never roll over and are fighting for their league lives. Sure the performance wasn't great but thats life - so lets change managers.
Swearing is banned on here so I won't put my real thoughts.

and good players hopeless at times. joking aside i would have warnock back in a flash he knows how to win in the play offs unlike our manager with his ever increasing learning curve.

O - M - G !!
All we need now is a thread about signing K Phillips because he scored today. Warnock is a good manager to be sure, but at this stage of the season, replacing one of the best managers we have had? - GET - A - LIFE!!

If we sacked Lee Clark we would quite rightly be the biggest laughing stock in football.
This place is unbelieveable when we don't win.

yeah because its only today we havent turned up...
I know a team is good when it can still play badly and pick up points... but sadly we havent played well for months we seem to only be going one way! We dont even look like a team.

We need better and more consistent performances, yes admittedly there are games where you have to grind out a result but we do it far too often, for a club who want to alledgedly achieve something, we are second but the points we have dropped through not playing for 90 mins is all to common

Did I imagine us winning 6-0 a couple of weeks ago? Results speak for themselves! but lets be honest, that was a very poor Wycombe side. What worries me is when we come up against tough sides like Tranmere and we get out muscled and outplayed and the manager gets the team selection totally wrong.

All those saying change management - out of interest, as we're second in the league, when would you keep a manager??
Because I'm no mathematician - but logically it would only be when we're in first place?

I am not saying "change the manager" but LC is making us long suffering Town fans, suffer even more. :nodding: Consistancy is the key to succes and that means a settled side. Today's result might turn out to be a good one!!, but why so many changes against tough, physical side. These sides might be mid table, but there no push overs and you always play to your strenghts.

We havent spent a fortune more than anyone in this league at all - sheff wed have spent £700k on two strikers this season, and do you think all charltons players (20 or so of em) are on poor money??!!! Ched Evans is reportedly on £30k a week at sheff utd as well - i think we need to have a reality check on how much money we have actually spent.......partiularly given the money received for pilks and pelts. Dean's money wont last forever, but ffs we are second in the table and have ALL the leading clubs to play against at home and none away. Granted if we dont achieve promotion, clark should leave at the end of the season BUT until then this kneejerk get Brown, Jones, Daves, Warnock (as if he'd bloody come!) in is pathetic!!!!

Ofcourse Warnock would come. He'd be back in the Championship next year, with a budget, and could easily be in the Prem by 2013, with a chairman that knows loyalty.

I wouldn't change the manager at this time in the season as we've got everything to play for with regards to promotion. If we don't go up and Warnocks still available I'd sack Clark and bring him in no questions. He's the best manager I've seen at Town!!! Still reckon we'll be playing Championship football next season : : : : : : : :

We haven't played well for Months yet we're sitting in 2nd place with a plus 28 goal difference, only losing twice in a Year of league games. While we looked like getting promotion, which we haven't done while he's been here, it's called ambition. Last Season we finished on a record number of points for a 3rd placed team. Granted, we screwed up at OT but this Season we're sat in 2nd place and haven't lost for 8 games. A whole bunch of you guys need to calm the f*ck down.

If we dont go up this time and Neil Warnock is still available, id say "Deano, Go get him!" because I think everyone would accept its time to try something else but teams rarely gain success from chopping and changing managers.
Look how long it too Fergie before he achieved something at OT.
Yep we have been crap at times, someone awful but whilst we are 2nd, we still have as good a chance as any of the others around to go up.
It could do horribly wrong if we were to do that and for all the good PR press we have had of late, that would vanish and be tarnished a bit tin pot IMO
Nowt wrong with a moan and grown about a crap performance but think your wrong John at this point in the season

Embarrassing thread title, does the forum no favours whatsoever. Some good replies in here though.
Warnock's getting on for 64 now though.

If most of the players that Lee Clark has signed had played for their previous clubs the way they've played for Lee Clark then there is no way on earth we'd have signed them on.
Lee Clark has got this amazing knack of turning a silk purse into a pigs ear.
But hey, what do I know. You all think the sun shines out of his arse.
Neil Warnock please, before it's too late.

You, my friend, are what's worst about this sad state of affairs. 43 games unbeaten and the likes of you were jumping through hoops thinking that we were on our way to the promised land. But the writing was on the wall and there for all to see for those that opened their eyes. The performances were godawful. We kept pulling rabbits out of hats, turning defeats into draws (mostly) and draws into wins. By my reckoning that's 8 games unbeaten and nothing changes. Once again, and dare I say it again, we were totally outplayed again amidst more rabbits being pulled out of the hat and amazingly there's those of you still saying: 'we're the dogs bollox and we're in second place' Unfortunately us realists are here to keep your feet on the floor ......... fat chance of that though. Play-off's beckon. Wembley this year, although I doubt we'll make it. Neil Warnock ASAP please.

The team Clark picked today (It's still today here) was a team that could win the game, as opposed to his old-style tactic of picking a team not to lose. Obviously, I didn't see the game, and I know from the comments that we were crap, but at least we're getting away draws now with a team that's capable of winning games (as opposed to a starting team not including Jordan Rhodes). Have faith my friends, Clark will come through this season. On the job training can be brutal in this league, but he's getting it.

Lee Clark is clueless.
He doesn't know what he's doing so how can we?
The most toothless front pairing in the entire football league is Rhodes and Novak and he paired them up against two of the most brutal centre halves in the entire football league ....... like I said, CLUELESS.

Lee Clark is better than Sir Alex, and he was right to drop Alan Lee and pick our resident....... .......instead, against two of the roughest, toughest....... ......'s in the football league. And you aren't really the....... .......we perceive you to be. Who needs fans like you who have their heads firmly stuck thee quarters of the way up Lee Clark's.....
