Will he still be here at the end of the summer transfer window? Will he sign a new contract?

If somebody offers us £10 million then yes. But I think he's enjoying himself at the moment under Wagner.

Be interesting to see what we do if someone bids £6m +.
Our whole model is to buy cheap and sell high so it would be a tough decision for Dean and the club to make. If he gets injured or goes out of form then his value decreases so do you cash in whilst the offers are there? Obviously selling your star player when you've just sold around 15,000+ season tickets though will bring in a lot of negatives with some, especially if we don't heavily reinvest, so there's a lot to be considered.
Then there's the player himself. It's alright rejecting a bid but as we know with Butterfield it's tough to keep hold of them once they decide they want out. I'd like to think that Nahki wants to stay and play under the "Wagner Revolution" but in a short career the chance to double/triple wages can often be too much of a temptation to want to go elsewhere.
Hope we manage to keep hold of him, keeping him and Lynch (surely some scouts have seen his recent form under Wagner too) will be a huge bonus going into next season.

Six million bid and hes gone, simple as that. And so he should at that price. But it wont happen.

This is a hard one, i see nahki as a fast average forward who plays in a team set up perfectly for him. Question is are average forwards in championship valued at 6m. am starting to think so. So no we cant afford to sell at 6m. ad say 9m+ And he keeps it up i think we will at some point get a offer in at that much.

Face it boys and girls, we are basically a selling club. I'm willing to bet a bid of £4 million would be enough for us to sell, four times what we paid for him?

Depends where we are going with getting a new striker/strikers - from Germany.
Keep in mind that the premise of Nahki coming to Town was that he would be sold on at added value. He's done enough in the last few months under DW to get his price up to the £5mm+ range.
However, I can't see him going to a premiership club so it would be a wealthy championship club. He might well realise that his best route in to the Premiership is with DW!

Either way, Nahki has served the club in an honest, hard working way and I would be pleased for him whatever happens.

Depends how he feels if a bid came in. Sub 5m DH would be reluctant to sell, but if Nahki would press for the transfer we could probably get £5-6m then we'd sell.

Depends how much bradford's sell on percentage is. If they're getting 20% of any profit and he goes for £6m then we make about £3.5m profit on fees on him. I reckon Hoyle would want more than that.
I also think it would be an important statement for us to keep him even if we're getting good bids, unless we know we can get someone that we are very confident will be as good as Wells. I'm thinking the way that Bournemouth sold Grabban and replaced him with Callum Wilson. No idea who that person might be, I don't watch much lower league football.

I don't think he would. Simply DH has mentioned that on a number of occasions. Yes I know that Dh has also sold since then but in different circumstances, i.e. we were not pushing to get promoted, the player has made it clear he wished to leave, although it was only done at the price that was good for this club. In the circumstances you mention though, I think that is totally different and would be so close to the MS situation but also as I have mentioned I think DW would have a greater influence in anyone that was leaving. Obviously we cannot get away from the fact that players do want to leave and it is really difficult in those situations

If someone offered six mill plus he would be sold, simple as that. We may try for more but why do people think we would turn that money down Jesus some on here wanted him gone earlier this season for what we paid;D

Yeah, to some degree we need to bring some income in from sales to cover costs and due to our status players see better opportunities elsewhere andcask/demand to leave. This will always be the case, but is at mist clubs. However, I think with everything that is going on we will see a move where we are on the scale, i.e. players will be happier to come/stay, thinking they actually have a chance to progress with us. In terms of the price, I don't think we would sell for 4m and fail to see what relevance the original purchase price has.

If the likes of McCormack, Afobe and Rhodes are going between 10 and 15 million we should demand at least 8 for Nahki. He is a natural goalscorer despite what some of the people who don't understand football say.

I think some people here really underestimate the value of proven championship goalscorers these days. 4m for Wells???
Wells is 4th top scorer in the league this season with 15 goals after 38 league games. The three players above him is McCormack who cost Fulham 11m, Andre Gray who Burnley could arguably get 10m+ for today, altough he "just" cost them 6m before this season. The third player is Abel Hernandez who cost 10m. Of the top 5 goalscorers, only Wells and McCormack plays in bottom half teams.
You can argue Wells misses alot of chances but fact is he is now a proven championship goal scorer and could with a great finish to the season reach at least 18, if not 20 goals. You don't get a player with that record for less than 6m, and I would go as far as 8m before I would let him go, with all the positivity around the club at the moment.
Ask yourselves this: What would we get for 4m? 6m? 8m? For 4m we might get a good league 1 striker in today's market. Maybe a 10 goals a season championship striker (Harry Bunn scored 9 last season) but we wouldn't get Alan Judge, Chris Martin, Sam Vokes or Jordan Rhodes, who have all scored less goals than Wells this season.

"A selling club" is the one of the most ridiculous terms in football It is. Particularly because we bought Nahki so we could sell him on at a profit. We bought him as a business development move just as much as a football development move. A lot now depends on the type of agreement DW has with DH. Whatever that agreement is though If a bid comes in at the required amount to trigger a move Nahki will go if he sees it as a step up - either financially or football wise.

Whos saying he cant score goals? Iv read tweets from people who say he's shit, we should replace him blah blah bollocks Hes missed a lot of good chances. His ability is limited compared to a lot of players in this league. But I think he could be top scorer in league next season dew to the fact our play style suits him perfectly, under other mangers hes been pretty poor at this level. How many times have you seen a team buy a player who is scoring goals for fun, and then they become complete flops.
