The people of saddleworth might consider themselves to be in yorkshire. They might even still think it is in yorkshire. But don't shoot the messenger, its in the county of Greater Manchester. It isn't anything to do with councils, its to do with the address- saddleworth, Greater Manchester. Brighouse has a Huddersfield area dialling code. Is it in Huddersfield? And is governed by Calderdale

Not sure if it's still the case, but Todmorden used to be Yorkshire one side of the river and Lancashire other.
Big mix of Burnley and Hudds fans up there, and they're a bit odd.

One thing I'm interested in is 'Existing Fantastic Media Stand Lower Tier Season Card holders will be contacted by the Club directly, with details enclosed in existing card holder renewal packs'
Has anyone been contacted?? And if so, to what end?
If they want people to be able to renew but not allow mew sales (to ensure there is plenty of space for schools promotions etc), then they can do that with the online system. If they are telling these people they cant renew as this will just be a pay on the day or away area, then why not just state that?
I cant think of a single reason why existing FM Lower season ticket holders wouldnt be able to renew or not directly online and needing some direct contact.

The golden rule of PR is if you want a story to run then it needs something new every time there's an update otherwise it's not deemed newsworthy by the reporters.
My guess is that once we're officially safe we'll release the number with a third push for sales, with an offer that's EVEN better than before because we're guaranteed championship football. The same publications will pick it up again to continue the story they've already deemed worthy to cover.
Great work by town on this rollout so far, to think it's not too long since we bodged up kit launches and thought it was a good idea to run a press conference with an empty chair.

I reckon we'll announce matchday prices after 9.30pm tonight when we are mathematically safe, I reckon £15/£20/£25 as the Cat C/B/A prices for next season so taking £20 as the average if you are likely to attend 9+ matches next year you may as well get a ST. I also think the club will announce that the ST deal ends after the last home game and that they will then increase to £250 in all areas, that should finally get the last wavering supporters to buy a ST if they are going to, I think some people have been expecting £10/£15/£20 as matchday prices that may have been the case in L1 but not in the championship.

I thought I read somewhere Dean was suggesting £20 to £30 for match day prices, depending on category..obviously maximising income from large away followings is a consideration. As far as closing the SC offer they might as well say the new prices are £500each..no one in their right mind would be buying one after the offer is shut surely ?

I think that if we are to offer cheap(ish) ST's next season and following seasons then we need to do an 'end of offer' price so that people have a reason to renew early and not just presume that there is an everlasting offer, most clubs traditionally do a buy before XX date to get a discount and I don't see why we would be any different, there may well be some people whose circumstances change from mid May to August that might still want to buy a ST even at £250, tax rebates, lottery wins, company bonus, relocation to the area, split from the missus!! etc etc. I don't think you can just say we stop selling season tickets end of at the end of the offer, I think we just say they go up in price, you could miss the first couple of games in the season and still be better off buying a £250 ST than paying £20 average for the next 21 games.

It's neither here or there. It 'should' have been something along the lines of this when built. (except with curved roof obviously)

when do the new SC's get sent out..normally ? not had one in years.. If you're on Twitter and follow several Town fans, you'll be inundated with photos of people's season cards the minute they drop through the letterbox. Some people even sit by their letterboxes filming every morning from mid June onwards until the season card arrives. It's most likely the same, if not far worse, on Facebook though I don't read that so can't confirm for sure. If you write down the details of the photos people post, you can use them later to secure early booking of in-demand away tickets for friends who don't have season cards

Same old story as with everything at the ground - football or the fans never priority.

Anyway single tier ends are better in my opinion, The North stand should have been a single tier like south stand but bigger with a proper concourse and vomitories.

I started my VLOG in March. Still just bills and junk mail so far.
