What happens if the nation votes to leave the EU before 1 July and he doesn't get a work permit? ;-) We can all blame Marcus

Looking at the montage of video put online earlier, he looks good in the sense, he takes penalties, set piece free kicks, tackles and puts a good cross in. I accept the montage will only show his strengths and equally will not show any faux pax he might have made. But taking into account he has come from the German league, is known by DW, I trust him to be a solid player and provide us the things we need down the left side. Interestingly I have been told by those that use FIFA 16 he is rated as a fast left back, which means he can move the ball forward quickly but he can also recover to defensive duties or indeed keep up with a speedy opponent. In my view DW has not got the team playing exactly how he wants, they are making progress but perhaps some are not up to the job and this latest recruit will put someone in place who DW knows can do the job FIFA 16 Stats - I know this is not scientific and am not one for minute suggesting that this is really how we pick our players but thought it would be worth mentioning Löwe: : His best stats are: acceleration 88, sprint speed 84, stamina 83, agility 81, balance 80 Davidson:His best stats are: crossing 75, acceleration 75, stamina 73, aggression 68, sprint speed 68 Husband: His best stats are: stamina 76, sprint speed 74, acceleration 72, balance 67, ball control 66. Chilwell: His best stats are: acceleration 79, sprint speed 77, jumping 71, dribbling 69, stand tackle 69. Christ.... EA guess most ratings and stats for anyone not in the top 5 leagues in the world. Don't go by them stats too much. If you're going to compare players by a game at least do it on football manager so its realistic

The fact Davidson is so close in the stats to chilwell shows just what a crock of shit it is Tackles missed or goals conceded via the left defensive flank would be meaningful. What if a cross came in from our right, but was scored by the oppositions RW who the LB should of been marking.

Both full backs at fault then. I don't actually think you need any stats to see that Davidson is not good enough defensively at this level.

From what iv seen and heard I'm hoping it's going to turn out to be an excellent piece of recruitment.

Ray Wilson was even shorter. Forget Ray Wilson, I can't believe you missed an opportunity to bring up your shortarse hero Denis Law!

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but do you know Loewe is injured? I was looking forward to watching him play for Kaiserslautern last night on BT, and when he wasn't on the teamsheet I started looking him up. Apparently he was injured in the match against Bochum on March 14th (shoulder injury apparently) and it looks like he won't play again this season.

With the timing I'd assume this is Kaiserslautern being professional and looking after our player. Obviously he's been in UK during this "injured" period and the video interview did mention he'd had the chance to see a Town game in the flesh, so he's probably had at least a week or two in England AHEAD of the signing being announced.

There hasn't been a video interview with Lowe has there? I've only seen the one with Hefele

I was listening to some German " expert " on the radio yesterday and he thought it was a massive coup that we had got this guy as he had expected him to go bundeslleiga ( spelling?) or the premiership .... Because he didn't cost a fee the likes of marcus will already have him down as a no mark but those in the know know that this is a big signal of intent Spelling is wrong. Those in the know? Remember the excitement on this board when we signed an Australian International. If he was any good...he would not be signing here. Who is your German expert? Tool

It really needs no explanation. Players sign for money, but also to be successful. With signings like Löwe it appears that we might be aiming not only to punch above our weight, but as Dean Hoyle has been quoted, "going for it" (next season). Nixon's tweet at the news of this signing was, "Aye aye", in the sense of well that's a bit of a surprise, what are little 'ol Hudders' doing signing Löwe. When Town's transfer targets see that we have signed a left back, who many regard as the best left back in Bundesliga 2, and with the re-branding that the club has implemented, the signing of Löwe might have added benefits. For someone to say "aye, aye" and you to proceed to turn that into a story about him disparaging Huddersfield - and this is on Twitter - is one hell of an assumption. I'd suggest that before Nixon heard from his sources that town were signing Löwe a few weeks ago, he would never have heard of him. Let's remember that he is a man who has made a career out of transfer rumours. If he was speaking about anything else, well, it just wouldn't be worth listening. Correct, no-one had ever heard of him. It's like that quote from Dean about the centre half had a firm handshake and said he liked hard tackles....and everyone goes weak at the knees. Why are we excited that we are signing players no-one has ever heard of? Honestly, the sooner people wake up to what is being pulled over their eyes...the sooner we can get to the premiership

Or if not showing enough ambition I have also heard of Sergio Ramos and Pepe?

A big world exists outside sunshine.... Thanks to marks like you. Your post offers nothing. I can only assume you are trying to support Ted? This lass spends his time bullying other people online. So, by association you are also a tool, probably a little blunt. Corrector?

Tool Bloody hell adenuff how many accounts do you have ? I applaud your tenacity sir Trying to improve the club by generating real positive thinking on this board. Right now it is full of bullshitters and people happy to have predicted the day we stay up. I was born and raised in Huddersfield and love the club. Couldn't wait to escape the no hopers. This is the problem with the board and the club. You accept failure as achievement.

I have a lot of accounts Ted. When you're ready to write something interesting give us a shout mate I could say the same about you. Am prepared to give a point of view to move this forward. But comments like your last one are indicative of why we have no success. I assume you are a loser in life and this board is your escape. You are surrounded by poodles who could not complete their exams. The smart people got out of Huddersfield and fuckwits like you propping up the bar in stinky WMC. I carry the Huddersfield banner in international business. But, I am fucking embarrassed to read the posts on this board.
