Depends how quickly the new players gel with the Championship. And assuming Nahki is not sold because of a huge offer "a la Rhodes" from a big club. It could happen!

It could happen! to challenge the tophalf we need three quality players and yes a wells offer will come and it will depend on the overall situaton as to whether we would sell ie who we may bring in but time will tell as things change quickly in this game. We will see what develops with interest because we are starting to move in the right direction but lets not get ahead of ourselves it will be just as tough as this season

My expectations if that is the right word are as follows: I would like everyone connected with the club from the chairman down through the board to the management, staff, players and fans to give 100% If that happens and I think it just might then we can ask for no more! David Wagner has worked wonders with this squad of players in a short space of time, I will be very interested to see what he does Pre-season! We have a very clever and astute head coach and I expect a couple of gems to be signed, indeed Chris Lowe I think will be one of them. As another poster has said, Wagner is learning this division fast and I think a top 10 finish could happen. We must remember however that there will be much bigger clubs here next season, look at who is coming down (Aston Villa) add to that a likely 2 from 3 of Newcastle, Sunderland & Norwich) and you see what we are up against! There will be times when it doesn't quite go as we hope, but lets make sure we stick behind the team 100%

Expectations for next season...hmmmmm let's think: FootballingDW to work with SW and the coaches to make the best possible additions in the close season DW to have a full positive pre-season with a real emphasis on both fitness and continuing to build the spirit he has created Performances on the pitch - I expect greater intensity but we need to take pressure off Nahki and improve at the centre of defence Teams will initially still see Town as an "eas(ier)" game but if we start well we will get respect and we need to counter teams pressing us Results will continue in the same vein as they have since DW arrived but hopefully with a little more consistency - if that happens we should be looking at a finishing position between 8-12. Play-Offs remains a dream but perhaps not as unobtainable as it was - but realistically with teams with big pockets still in the league it will be as competitive as ever Off the PitchThe club will have a realistic walk-up pricing policy Budgets will remain tight but realistic Julian Winter will do an effective job with the minimum of fuss DATMOpinions will vary from sensible to utterly ridiculous depending on results There will be a few who will revel in the negative and tell us everything that is wrong at the club but offer absolutely no solutions to those "problems" Jimmymac's posts will make me smile Supernovak will not get any transfer predictions correct WTD will provide a balanced and regularly commentary NickHudds will continually provide moments MT will ensure that I never miss any interesting post on the web Epsomterrier will be first to post "just got back" reports for fixtures south of Watford Gap Now, I am pretty sure I might be right about one of those sections....but which one....hmmmmmmmmm??? Overall a season to look forward with genuine reasons for optimism...I think if we don't see good football and some good results we will all be a little disappointed. UTT

Champions by March 1st. 138 points, 200 goals scored and a +150 goal difference.
Oh and I might be pushing my luck here but a win against Reading in 3rd round of cup would be nice

Top 10 minimum but aim for play offs. We need to significantly strengthen the defence to have any chance though. My expectations have just gone up.

I expect to see how we go. I dont expect to know too much about a few of the signings and will have to trust they fit into what we are trying to achieve. Dont know who is staying and have already had my say on hogg and hudson..
we all know whats required in playing staff and we all know consistency will be the key, not the odd game or two in between some very poor ones..
my expectations are a 'wait and see' really..

A good start, and not flirting with relegation at any stage - that would be progress.

Aren't we 9th since Wagner took over? Top half is very achievable but every other side will be thinking the same If this is the case we should be aiming top 10 given a Wagner preseason and players coming in should make our 2016/17 squad the strongest and most able since promotion. Alot will depend with what happens to Wells if he goes (and the wolves will be circling off season), regardless we need a striker leading the attack with 15 + goals in him for that top 10 finish

A top 10 (or top half) finish and is probably the minimum aimed for by the club. A manager who is still learning the English game (albeit quickly) and a fresh influx of players, some playing in English league for first time; this is a reasonable expectation based on what we've seen since Wagner arrived. Big crowds and great atmosphere to boot it should be a great season. UTT

One expectation that needs tempering is that Billing is somehow going to become a first pick midfielder for next season. He was way short again tonight and lacks concentration and an urgency about his play. He's nowhere near Huws at the present time. I want the lad to do well, but wanting alone won't make it happen. I know I'm in a minority, but if Huws goes then I feel we will need to purchase his replacement rather than rely on Billing to step up so quickly. Controversial. Oh... and 10th would be a good season, for me, next year. you are correct in that billing has lots to do to become a championship player but he his at last showing signs that he could be.
