someone just asked danny hoyle if he should stay up late and he said yes. mind you asking someone if you should go to bed early on twitter is a bit weird. Danny Hoyle also likes to wind Town fans up on twitter then come here and laugh at us. Hi Danny, if you're watching, you wont fool me this year

From the BBC -
There has been ยฃ200m spent in the EFL and ยฃ120m has gone to three clubs relegated out of Premier League last season; Newcastle, Aston Villa and Norwich - who all get a parachute payment this time round.
Aston Villa ยฃ59.1m
Newcastle ยฃ57m
Norwich ยฃ10.5m
Madness - what's our net spend? 5 million?

Just a thought but how will it work tonight, will Hoyle Webber Wagner all be on standby, or sat in wagners office playing cards with a glass of Liebfraumilch waiting for the phone to ring?

I dont think we will sign anyone at all, but ive a little niggly bit that thinks maybe Hoyle and Wagner might have a surprise for us Town fans, that might make us love them all abit more. Right anyway ill get back to sleep.... Sorry, is that possible? Anything is possible

Rhodes already leaving Boro and on way to Norwich - wonder what the fee is.
Has to be what Boro paid surely?

Newcastle may have spent 57 M but the number isn't what it may seem....
Net Spend more important of course so I better be fair after my dramatic earlier post.
On twitter - If Sissoko deal goes through #nufc will walk away from the transfer window with a ยฃ31million profit and 12 new signings! Not bad business.

Hope them two haven't got DH on the Jagermeister, money is no problem at all after a few of them, I kid you not..

This transfer deadline day hasn't been as fun as the one where Leeds told their fans to not go to bed as there was exciting news coming up, and then proceeded to sell two players.

To be fair haven't the Toon been top of "making money from player dealing" league for the last few seasons under Mike Ashley's stewardship. That's a large part of their fans anger toward how the club is run.

Wagner wouldn't drink Liebfraumilch, more likely a quality Rheingau Riesling Kabinet Are you otium (EPBS) 's man-servant?!! Incidentally, spell check wants to change him to opium!! I have only tried opium twice...and one of them i was spiked! Smoked some up in the Golden Triangle circa 1984 and then another time i was visiting caves in Vang Vieng in Laos. A former (junkie) workmate of mine suddenly passed on a scooter...a bizarre coincidence. He ended up drugging my tea...quite pleasant it was too. Dont think Tetleys have quite considered that market!

Jack Wilshere to Bournemouth? Shit the bed.
Fulham have signed Chris Martin from Derby by the sounds of it too, decent signing for them that.
