I know we have a very famous fan, who is very active on DATM, following our team (hiya Ted) but I want to talk about Prince William. Why the friggety-fuck does he support Villa? Surely he should be a Palace fan.

He'll be supporting West Ham next year: living in a cavernous building built and refurbished to the resident's tastes by the tax payer.

Tom Hamks reckons he's a Villa fan but put money on Leicester at the start of the season. Or so he said earlier this week

William chose Villa cos he wanted to support a shit team and have some excitement instead of predictable tedium of Man U and Chelsea. Plus his mates supported them.
Good reasons. He's alright.

Tim Vincent and Bryn Law are both Wrexham fans. Are either celebrities?

If you're a team like Aston Villa that needs some serious violins, Nigel Kennedy's not a bad shout.

There was a sitcom in the 80's Called Home To Roost. Staring the great John Thaw (The Father). I believe Matthew the Son was played by a Town Fan. If only I could remember his name. ;-)

I think that one half of the DATM crown green bowling champion pair is a Town fan, but I haven't noticed Tony on here for a while.

Why don't any of the Royal Family support Queens Park Rangers? Cos the Queen supports Arsenal. By rights of course, they should support Reading, what with them being in Royal Berkshire along with Windsor Castle. Might be a myth, but I once read somewhere that Reading have or had the right to play in their home 'royal blue' strip at home or away if they want to, because of being from Berkshire (no idea why that would be a reason). I think this myth goes back to 90s when Readings away kit was yellow and blue (and home was blue and white). When they turned up at Town, the ref would make them wear Town away kit (this happened with two or three teams back then, sometimes entire strip, sometimes just shirts)...but I think the home side changed to their away kit for them sometimes. Also probably a myth, but same goes for Preston...a right awarded to them for winning the first league. Probably rubbish?!

Lots in the music business. Robert Plant always dyed in the wool Wolves fan, Steve Harris from Iron Maiden usually wears West Ham wrist bands on stage and has had one of his signature basses done in WH colours. Elton very involved at Watford for a long time of course.

Doesn't 'Dodgy Dave' claim to be a Villa fan too?
Villa; the team the villains claim to love.

Doesn't 'Dodgy Dave' claim to be a Villa fan too? Villa; the team the villains claim to love. He probably had a team of spin doctors risk assess every professional football team in the country to see which one would be the best for Brand Cameron to be associated with. The same with Prince William. Old traditional club Working class area but not obviously so in a way that would look transparent for him to be tagging on to Not full of plastic supporters so would look more authentic that he genuinely supports them No big name rivals that would alienate fans across the country (just Birmingham). My dog probably knows more about football than Cameron, who frequently confuses the team he supports with another one in a similar colour. Don't all us true football supporters do that?!

Reece really should have given Keith Longpockets some acting lessons before they filmed that video, he had a shocker, "now then young man get off my fucking pitch".
