Long. Well behind Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, Derby, Hull, Leeds (it hurts, I know), Brentford, Wendies, Ipswich, et alia.

Bear in mind we were as short as 50-1 this season and a top priced 100-1 in a place. It won't have gone unnoticed that we are strengthening well. I reckon the absolute tops you will see is 50-1. Any bigger than that I might have a play myself

I know but I wouldn't want to put the kiss of death on them Never bet apart from my same lotto numbers since it started (you know, the week after I jack, they'll come up thing) but I'm putting a tenner on Town to go up next season! Will need someone to tell me how though and where?

Could be worth a bet on handicap - depending on what the handicaps are of course.

Odds on any proper outsiders winning a title will significantly drop next season due to Leicesters success this season.

Odds on any proper outsiders winning a title will significantly drop next season due to Leicesters success this season. Not true. The markets will be priced up with near-exact overrounds as always. If anything, outsiders will be made more tempting with longer prices to attract the dreaming punter.

What's with the Villa love-in ?
….. and, more importantly, can you therefore get some big odds for them to go down again ??
I'd have a tenner on 5,000:1 and I don't even gamble.

In the last 5 years none of the teams relegated from the Prem have won automatic promotion the following season. Whichever two of Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich come down I'd back both of them to do so but Villa will struggle to make it into the top 6.

Maybe it's just me, but those odds show me how much we've progressed this season and what the bookies think we'll do in the transfer market. Long may it continue

The odds are nonsense at the moment because a large chunk of the make-up of the division is unknown. They will be much more attractive by the beginning of June.

Sorry, but I can't help myself, I think we'd still be among the favourites at the other end of the table, not because we deserve to be there perhaps, but unless we spend BIG (unlikely) the betting luvvies will still have Wigan above us, for example.

No, they're from Skybet - I couldn't find anything at all on Oddschecker. But as you say, they're pretty meaningless until - at the very least - we know which teams will actually be in the league next season.
