Maybe it's just me, but those odds show me how much we've progressed this season and what the bookies think we'll do in the transfer market. Long may it continue And despite us being shit for 3 years and signing no-one we were still a stupidly low 50/1 pre-season. Bookies used to try to attract money, now they just try to attract free pennies from brainless mugs. Best price next year will be 40/1...we should be over 100/1

In the last 5 years none of the teams relegated from the Prem have won automatic promotion the following season. Whichever two of Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich come down I'd back both of them to do so but Villa will struggle to make it into the top 6. Is that true? What about Newcastle, they won the title or is that longer than 5 years ago?

In the last 5 years none of the teams relegated from the Prem have won automatic promotion the following season. Whichever two of Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich come down I'd back both of them to do so but Villa will struggle to make it into the top 6. Is that true? What about Newcastle, they won the title or is that longer than 5 years ago? Newcastle romped to the title with 102 points in 2010, with West Brom a further 11 points behind. They were the last 2 teams to come straight back up automatically. In fact 8/15 teams have failed to even make the top 6 the following season. 2011 Burnley, Hull and Pompey finished 8th, 11th & 16th. 2012 West Ham, Birmingham and Blackpool finished 3rd (Promoted), 4th & 5th. 2013 Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves finished 7th, 17th & 23rd. 2014 QPR, Wigan and Reading finished 4th (Promoted), 5th & 7th. 2015 Norwich, Cardiff and Fulham finished 3rd (Promoted), 11th & 17th.
