It's been a great weekend but time to look forward to our next opponents. We have an initial allocation of 1373 which should sell out with us being top of the league and the feel good factor being at record levels. Who's going and how will we do ? Personally I will be disappointed with owt less than a draw, Reading have a midweek game against Brighton, hopefully that will help us. Can't see many changes to the starting 11 and I'm going for yet another 2-1 victory.

Good win for them yesterday. They seem to dominate possession, especially at home, due to the way Stam has got them playing. Seems like most of it is passing it around their own half without going anywhere though
Never fancy us to get anything down there so would be happy with a point in normal circumstances but this season has been far from normal so far...

No reason we can't get a win at Reading, although I wouldn't be too disappointed with a point.
Think we'll have too much for them though tbh, I don't envy any team playing us atm home or away.. 2-0 town. Kachunga, Mooy.

I'm going, my home game this and I will probably be sat with the Reading fans so I hope to hear lots of noise from the Town fans, quickest way as I do it every other week. M1 to M69 Turning straight after Leicester Forest M69 to A46 Warwick ( dual carriage way ) all way to M40 roadworks just about finished M40 to junction 4 Wycombe turn right across island to A 404 A404 to M4 turn right at bottom M4 Reading M4 junction 11 then look out for A33 old Basingstoke Road Park in Holiday in £6 good bar at Hotel Walk to ground 10 mins You can continue down the M1 to junction 15a Northampton ( services exit) then follow M40 directions through Silverstone to M40 then follow same directions to ground as above

Im going. First away game this season. Not been there since the old Elm park days so a new ground for me. I think we'll win- we're the best team in this division just now.

is there no pub near the ground? No. There is a Holiday Inn about 10 mins walk away which has a reasonable bar and is OK for parking, and a hotel at the ground which has been restricted to home fans only over the last few years.

I think I have seen Town lose at Elm Park more often than at any other away ground I remember my dad taking me to Elm Park when I was a kid. We were late and had to park at one end of the ground and walk to the other end. Reckon we were probably 5 mins late yet heard Reading score 2 as we were walking down to the away end Also vaguely remember Michael Gilkes seemed to tear us apart a lot. That guy seemed to hover as he ran

Ive never been to Reading as where it is etc and "calibre" of game ive always thought ill save my pennies for something worthwhile. But this season they are all worthwhile, so im taking a car load from my work(one arsenal fan and a Manyoo one) converting these or at least trying, so Town.... do the biz.

Real wasteland for Town is Reading although the only time I've been to Elm Park we did manage to win 2-0, my only visit to the Madeskji saw us lose 1-0. They even knocked us out of the FA Cup one year in the 80's being a division below us at the time that Reading goalscoring legend Trevor Senior scoring the winner.

Going to miss this one - gutted as I've enjoyed the last few away days there (FA Cup excluded). Don't see why we can't come away with all the points!

They were runaway leaders of the 3rd division at the time from memory , we drew at Leeds Road lost replay I think. Reading used to only get around 3000 before they moved and had success under Majeiski. Its a pretty wealthy but soulless place full of London big club supporters. The small towns and villages around are absolutely stunning with loads of extremely rich inhabitants.

Another tough test, about time we laid the ghost of Trevor Senior to rest now...
Used to work with a couple of Reading fans yrs ago, OK blokes to be fair...
Always thought of Reading as one of those clubs who struggle to have an identity, probably more to do with their location and the general 'new town' feel of the place that it seems to struggle to shake off...
Tough game - can't see that we won't be up for the game, seems daft even saying that now with DW in charge...

Yeah if my memory serves me right we proper pummelled them in the first game but couldn't score, drew 0-0 and lost the replay after extra time to the Senior winner.
