Hull winning is probably a good result for us if they can beat Ipswich Saturday night. Hopefully we are still interested when that kicks off.

Norwich could need a point against Birmingham. I now expect Hull to beat Ipswich Saturday meaning they might be stuck in 3rd when we play them. There that’s all my straws.

Birmingham’s last 9 away games. 7 defeats 2 draws and failed to score in 5 of those.
Don’t take that as gospel, it’s what i overheard in the boozer.

Is that Liverpools season pretty much done then?
No trophy in his last season?

He won the League Cup again like 2 months ago… Thanks, I genuinely couldn’t remember. Those clubs have little interest for me, other than hoping Man C don’t buy 4 in a row… And Forest to sink as well of course… 🤞

We are all clutching them and we will be playing far more than 11 jokers on the pitch saturday and hopefully in the last game. Its a funny old game.🙄

If only our motley crew cared as much as Everton to stay up and put in a shift like that against Ipswich and Brum.
Can’t see it happening, but I live in eternal hope.

He won the League Cup again like 2 months ago… Yes when all the kids had to play and wanted to prove a point . Maybe his senior players have kind of given up knowing Klopp is going ? They played better on Sunday with a weaker looking team.

It's got to affect SOME players' mindsets.

Brighton 0-2 Man City. Too easy, cruising to a 4th consecutive title I fear.
Edit: 0-3.

Brighton 0-2 Man City. Too easy, cruising to a 4th title I fear. They'll be stripped of them in due course. And even if they're not, the whole world knows that this isn't an achievement. They've bought these titles in a league that is increasingly uncompetitive. Credit to Arsenal and Liverpool for making it interesting, but Manchester City are unstoppable because of spending and (admittedly) a very fine coach. Going are the days when teams outside the top 6 could beat title contenders. Last night's derby result is an increasingly rare outcome. Manchester City have lost 11 games in 3 seasons. Liverpool barely any more; they were runners-up 2 years ago having lost 2 all season, with 92 points. In 2019, they were runners-up with one defeat all season, with 97 points. Points totals at the top are getting higher and higher, while points tallies in mid-table and bottom of the table are getting lower. The bottom 3 in that division are all going down with quite likely under 30 points. It isn't a reflection on them. It's just how hard the top flight is. 12 games a season you're almost guaranteed to lose as a newly-promoted side. 26 games to get what is needed to stop up. 20 years ago Arsenal won the league with 90 points, in their truly remarkable invincibles season. 26 wins, 12 draws. Chelsea were runners-up with 79 points, enough to win the league in multiple seasons - notably 1999, when Manchester United did the treble. This season, the title winners will probably be Manchester City with 91 points. Arsenal are on for 89. Liverpool, assuming they pick up again, 86. Villa have done incredibly to end up with a 70+ point haul, but it's a huge gap between that top three and them. Indeed, in that 1999 season Leeds finished 4th with 67 points, and a record of 18 wins, 13 draws, 7 defeats. Villa are one point short of that already. At the very top, it's one of two or three. Nobody else can compete. Until recently, any team could beat any other on their day. At the risk of making a contradictory statement, shock results were common. Now, you have to go back 5 years for Manchester City's last defeat to a bottom half side, when they were beaten by Norwich 3-2 at Carrow Road. It just isn't the game it used to be. It's predictable. And it's down to the financial power of a tiny group of clubs who have bought the game. And one in particular, which has warped the league to the point where it just isn't a league any more.

Brighton have had an on the beach feel to them for a while and obviously Man City have been ruthless.

L33ds go to the capital/south coast with 1 win (Millwall) in ten over the last 12 months & 1 win in seven (5 Defeats) at Loftus Road over a decade.....Is Farke a better manager than Cifuentes this season, EFL put DF in top three but I would have MC above him steering QPR to almost safety, UTR's.

If leeds dont get auto, they will fail in the play offs again. They look less together than we do. Premier league?? If they sign 15 plus players??
