Hoping for at least one bit of enjoyment from this weekend’s football. Forest v Man City at 4pm. I’m supporting the scabs for one night only. I’m a couple of grand to the good if Arsenal can get over the line. Sick of man citeh fc. A bit torn on this one. Don’t want Man C to get 4 in a row, want Forest to be relegated. I suppose a draw is the best outcome for me, but can’t see much beyond a Man C win really. Glad Arsenal held on, not just for your pocket, but to keep the pressure on Man C. (footnote: I always refer to these teams by their full name, because it pisses me off that the media refer to City & Utd as though everyone assumes they’re talking about the Manchester clubs)

Brighton fans want their manager sacked while sat 10th in the Premier League. They don't realise just how good they've had it since we were promoted together That’s why I want Town to remain a fairly normal club. Brighton are what you could call steady, maybe even getting themselves established in the PL, but they’ve had to rely on a very generous benefactor. I wonder how many of their supporters can remember them shaking buckets when they were pretty much homeless and almost a goner? Was it the Withdean stadium where they had to resurrect themselves? Wasn’t that long ago, and now they’re calling for his head. Absolutely bonkers…

Looking like a Bromley v Solihull Moors final to see who comes up to L2. It’d be a bit ironic if it was old opponents and (relatively) near neighbours Bromley that came up to replace Sutton United. A new club guaranteed for the EFL.
Wonder if Solihull Moors would be interested in a return to them from Kyle Hudlin if they made it to L2?

This commentator does my head in. Is it Peter Drury? Cliche Man. The Alan Partridge of Sky TV.

Haaland showed Forest how to finish . I dont think Rodri broke sweat all game. They were lucky to get away with strolling through the afternoon. Pep complained about the number of games and injuries, yet still had 350 million on the bench.. La la land of make believe problems?

How has Oliver not given that penalty himself. He's looking straight at it a few yards away. It's a terrible piece of officiating. I've just seen it. A guy getting hoofed in the scrotum is hard to see when you are literally two yards away, clearly. No wonder English refs are so poorly rated.

Rebecca in VAR reviewed it a number of times and gave the pen for handball. The ref from the other week confirmed it was well outside the box anyway🤪 Fancy telling Oliver he made a clear error? 🤔 Wait till he is var for the two in the studio today😚

Although he seems to be the most highly rated going to the Euros etc. I have read on Twitter other refs think he is good in general play but another one who relies on VAR too much but then doesn't like being told what to do..

If Ipswich fail to win tonight it could see Town making one last appearance on Sky this Saturday, I'm guessing over 99% of us want them to pick up the 3 points at Coventry then play out a 0-0 at Portman Road, meaning Lids will miss out on autos by a point if they beat Saints......When they are dumped out of the play offs (again), it will be 'If only we could have beaten 10 man Huddersfield' all summer. Ha.

I’ve gone from having my hotel booked in Ipswich to not even watching the game Saturday. A game i genuinely want us to lose isn’t my thing.

Just seen it, along with Brum/Norwich & L33ds/Saints, they will be hoping Ipswich don't win tonight.....Still hope the tractor boys win tonight, they won't need to hammer us then.

Banned for a month, apparently for? He's one of my favourite posters on here. thing about the yellow card system is, they never get wiped off...so you get one 3 years ago, then another today and you're banned.
Yellow cards need to expire after 6-12 months imo..

A point for Ipswich tonight means they are promoted..
Us losing on Saturday is the biggest sporting certainty in history..
