That fracas by the corner flag, my assessment...
All footballers nowadays are Jessies...
Pawson is shit scared of them...
What an absolute farce of an incident, Pawson just stood ten yards away until others had cooled it down. A lot of Refs seem to do this nowadays, is there some mandate they've been issued that instructs them to stay out of it? They should be getting in there...

They stand back and observe - refs in all sports are told to do this. You can't see everything if you're right in the middle of it.

My assessment was that if either of Rashford or Kolasinac had thrown themselves to the ground after banging heads, the other would have been sent off. Why does a player falling to the ground feigning injury in those situations always equal a red card but when both stay stood up it is a yellow a piece

Simple answer - shit refereeing.

Seems like a shit rule in the PL then (with all the mics and visual aids they have). If you don't get in there it allows the situation to potentially escalate and instead of a couple of yellow cards you might be showing six... Do they do that in both codes of Rugby?

Start blindly windmilling. Normally works.

How the hell can they make VAR work with stupid people running the system. That's the problem, the camera doesn't make the decision.

They definitely do in union, I think they do in league as well. If the ref can diffuse it straight away when it's just a couple of players they will. If its already going like tonight they will just observe and make sure they spot everything.

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think that is a red. The player has a bad first touch and is looking at the ball when he tries to get hold of it again. The speed of the oppo player means he nicks the ball in split second time. Unfortunately the lads leg is grounded so takes the full force, had his foot been off the floor it wouldn’t have made much impact.

Burnley are 40-1 to beat Man City today.
Newport are 7-1 to beat Boro.
Those odds challenge the integrity of football as a sport.

'simulation' passed twice last night with no action from the ref??? both were ludicrous dives , does that let you off because everyone is either stunned at what a c-nt you are. or are laughing too much to deal with it???
Abemeyang started diving long before the opponent got near him?? Pogba rook a stride or two and even managed a 360 degree turn with nobody near him??
well you dont want to ruin a good cup tie do you....?

It's over the ball, studs up into his shin. 100% a red card.

Rotherham 1-0 with a 30 yarder. Sounds like a terrible game. Might just wake Leeds up that though as Rotherham are terrible.

How that is not red I will never know. Intent or not you could hardly say mounie intended to cause harm but without hesitation a red was shown.

Another late winner. its their season methinks. Huge game v Norwich on Saturday. Win that and they're probably promoted. Not sure we can talk about late winners at Rotherham mind This is the season to do it if they are going to. The big spenders have all cut back due to FFP.
