David Silva should be off. No doubt the FA will turn a blind eye as well.

I'm not a fan of either club, but for Man C to win the league would just be proving that success is now simply a case of how big your chequebook is...
They have a team that is great to watch, but putting it together and keeping it together, has probably cost more in the last 3 seasons than the money HTFC has ever spent in their history, even if you adjust spending in line with inflation etc.
That's not sport, it's just a pissing contest...

You have to hand it to Wolves, apart from the bizarre double loss against us they've had some cracking results this season.

This game shows the difference between 1st and 6th. Man city not even at their best and are far better than United.
Some of uniteds crossing is as bad as ours.

Man C spend money like they're loading a washing machine... The PL doesn't blink an eyelid because they support their overarching agenda... Man C will be viewed by many as some great club, but their honours list pre-PL (& big money) era is not that much better than us. Their FA cup record is pretty good, but there'll be a perception that these guys are living legends. All funded by stupid amounts of free cash - the bit that will be casually ignored...

No problems at all with City spending gazillions. It’s what you do with the players that counts. Ask Fulham, or indeed, Man U

An article in 2017 suggested City had spent about one billion euros in transfer fees in the previous 10 years. I don't think that was net spend but then they haven't let loads of players go for vast amounts either.

Ask Fulham, or indeed, Man U This is true, but the advantage of having a fairly limitless budget is that you can afford to make mistakes and sign a few duffers and any losses quietly swept under the carpet. Not that Guardiola has done that but then the best coaches don't come cheap either.

Didn't both Van Dyke and the keeper cost more than City's record transfer. I bet there's not much in their total spends but the bin dippers get away with it cos of the stupid money Barca paid them to put that Brazilian in their reserves 😉

As Souness has just said City's players have all the talent but work harder too. Then they said City's starting XI only cost a Kongolo more than Utd's
