45% gate receipts and 90k from the FA for the winners, not to sniffed at. Chance to win in round 5 = 180k, big game for both clubs.Agree, will be a sell out and should be a right good game, can't wait. UTT The gate receipts will be peanuts and financially it is one of the worst clubs to be drawn at. Now if it was Arsenal, Manure, you would be talking at least a million pound in gate receipts. Town will get around £100k in gate receipts if its a sell out at the stated prices. Plus £90k for winning that's a nice little chunk of cash for the club. Chances of a big draw are much greater in the next round so what's the issue?

TV games - they're waiting on announcing the last game until they get the Bolton v Palace replay result.
It's between the winner of that game v Man C or Man U v Wigan.
With the NW bias you'd have to think the only chance of Man U not getting the live TV game is if Bolton win that replay...
Digressing a second though - this is why Yorkshire football needs to get a couple of teams established in the PL, the NW has been the powerhouse of football up here for longer than I care to remember...

Quick question regarding buying online. I normally go to the ground for my away tickets, As I am wanting 4 tickets on Wednesday is they a way to put my friends season card details online so I can buy them all in one go or will I have to wait till Thursday to get them at the stadium?
Cheers

Cheers Yes, you can. I think they will all need to be registered with an online account (or perhaps you can register on their behalf). Then you can add them to your "friends and family network" and assign tickets to their accounts when you buy them. It's all done on the account page of the ticketing website. That's not a great explanation of how to actually do it (sorry) but I'm sure the ticket office could talk you through it. Was pretty simple when I did it at the start of the season and has worked a treat for getting away tickets.

There is a 100% chance of Man U being on tv. They have had something like 50 odd consecutive FA cup games on tv.

Missed a trick i think by asking more than 20 quid.......but i don't begrudge rochdale. I know a director there well and its a proper community football club which like us right now is outperforming its budget. What trick have they missed? They'll get same crowd whether it's £5, £10 or £30...so may as well charge top whack.

Can't believe people are complaining about £22.
We have clearly been spoilt with cheap prices this season.
I was expecting more. It is a reasonable price and we should sell out. Really looking forward to this game.
It's obviously more than we charged but there are quite a few differences. It give us a chance to go to an away day we barely ever get to go to at a tight compact ground and is less than an hour away.

Got my tickets
Still find it very strange that both oldham and Rochdale have confirmed that their games will be on the Saturday at 3pm. They never play at home on the same day! Wouldn't surprise me if the police asked for the date to be changed after people had bought tickets and made plans!

Where did you hear Oldham and Rochdale never play at home on the same day ?
This is the third time I have heard/read this, One of those is a renowned scattergun bullshitter who does occasionally get some things correct, hence the name,
Yet my Dale supporting work colleague has just said that Dale, Oldham and Bury have all been known to play at home on the same day.

Well my source isn't 'official', but a guy that I work with is a season ticket holder at oldham, he told me. If you look at both teams fixtures/results though, they're never at home on the same day, so it does sound legit.

Town and Bradford nearly always play at home on the same day. Both get much bigger crowds than Oldham or Rochdale*. What's the problem?
*Well Bradford claim they do!

Rochdale... There are fewer than 500 tickets left. We would advise any SC holders thinking of buying to do so tonight or in the morning (SM)

Aint no problems with no Manchester side at home that day.

Been in amongst the Dale fans a couple of times in the past, No problems whatsoever, Indeed their home end ( be to our left ) has a cracking proper bar beneath it, Decent fans are theirs with no grudges or grumbles about Town.
Don't let not getting a ticket put you off, Get over and get in with the Dale fans.

Are there pubs on route to station from ground, or is it a case of having a drink near station and them making your way to ground?

Are there pubs on route to station from ground, or is it a case of having a drink near station and them making your way to ground? Nah, Dale town centre, Or get near the ground, Boozers on way from station to Town centre were shite, Wether they remain open ?
Tod n Sowerby on way back for us, Probs quick refreshment break at Tod on way.
Once stopped in Hebden on way back, Had a few, Met a bird, Watched a band, Bird fucked me off, Missed a Train n had to go to Bradford - Leeds - To Hudds, No money left, My trek home to my mothers at Outlane was interrupted by a short exchange of blows against a couple of early morning drive- by muggers, Gave one a couple of smacks and then legged it over the road and round the back of a couple of houses, I then Spent what seemed an age sat on the step of a random back to back house at Sally Nook before I dare do one over the playing fields. I did get home, I didn't walk home again. But I did date the girl again a couple of times, alas, Twas many moons ago.
Give Hebden Bridge a miss.

If there were more concise, entertaining stories on DATM it would be for the better.

We'd better set off in the early hours as we'll be using the same M62 turnoff as 30,000 Bradford fans come off at milnerow. lot easier on that day.
