Weather looks shocking for tomorrow in Sheffield. This will be a factor in the game potentially. Be interesting to see who will benefit the most.

If wind comes into the play it certainly doesn't help our slick passing game, but burton away was cold wet and windy and we grinded something out, but if elements come into play it certainly favour Wednesday with there hit and hope style of play

Its just peeing down

Won't suit that fat idiot who's always shirtless come rain hail sleet or snow. Absolute muppet even chooses to be in the open corner at Hillsborough where he can bear the full brunt of the weather. What a plank.

I don't think torrential rain is going to help us at all with our passing but plenty of time for the forecast to change yet.

It absolutely pissed it down for a midweeker a few seasons back when we beat them at their place (Pilks and Carey scored i believe).
An omen? No, its just weather.

Recall going to Hillborough for a Tues night league match a few seasons back when it threw it down and the traffic was horrendous (might have been Afobe's first appearance for us?). We got a result that night iirc so hopefully this will be a good omen for us.

Loved the second half of towel songs. The towel is our, the towel is oooooours, fuck off Sheff Wednesday the towel is ours! Someone definitely got sent off, then they had a player sent off too just before half time, 2 yellows in a couple of minutes, was a blessing for us.

Only drizzle from kickoff now, so presuming their new pitch (relayed in the summer) is well drained..... which it will be, the its perfect for our style of play... if its abit heavy/muddy our extra fitness will show through. So provided it doesnt cut up, or puddle which modern pitches dont really do.... Its a definite advantage.

There's definitely a storm brewing with some extremely high pressure moving in from the North leaving Sheffield and the surrounding areas feeling dark and gloomy for the next few days!!!!

Yep it's down to buying players who've played at higher level or players who excelled at this level and paying massively over the offs for them all. When they've struggled to progress as they should've they go and and spend more.

Radio Five Live had their weather expert at Ainley Top this morning. He was desperate to report snow but was unable to tell everyone of the Arctic Blizzard conditions and the 4 foot drifts. Instead he told us that it was going to snow today, and that there was a yellow weather warning. Now I know that Upperthong isn't Ainley top, but at the time, if you looked hard enough out of the curtains you could just about see snow settling.
