If going to a Town away friendly against German Division 4 opposition doesn't result in an automatic P1 classification for the rest of the season, there's no justice.

Wasn't Altona 93 the team that beat or drew with West Ham in a friendly during pre-season?
I'd imagine this is going to be a game for our Cup team plus the two new lads.

Yes, indeed (3-3), though I think West Ham played them as part of their pre-season preparations. Wonder if Town are going for a couple of days and using training camp facilities up there; if so, it could be a squad thing, after all. Seems a long way to go otherwise.

Someone needs to sort that out....."Formed in 1983, Altona is one of the oldest football clubs in Germany"
Bloody hell they started late in Germany....

Wagner said that we are flying in, playing the game and flying straight back, definitely not a holiday for the players.

Surely we could play against some lower league opposition in this country? Maybe Leeds for example..
