I’d change the formation in order to get more than one man in the box for 99% of the game.

Yes. Apart from the result we're lots of positives today.

Can we write to the FA and ask if we can play our whole squad? Like a WWE Handicap Match

Let's just play 9 defenders in the hope of grinding out a 0-0.

City looking pretty frightening recently especially today. Can't help but fear for us.
Gonna need a great atmosphere and a monumental performance from the team to get anything

Our lads will give it a right go, that's all you can ask. The crowd will be an extra man, but that might not be enough.
Coming up against the best is what we've all been dreaming of for the past 45 years and as far as the result is concerned, well you never know shocks do happen.

Smith must be back in and stay in. I was shocked he wasn’t back in at Bournemouth especially given Schindler’s suspension. That was a mistake in selection imo.
For a team that doesn’t score or create many he created 10 goals with crosses last year. We can’t afford to play without him.
Hadergonaj is strictly occasional back up.

A lot of his good work last season was in tandem with Kachunga. For whatever reason, that's not happened this year. I think it's question of who is the better (and most aware) defender, as it's so easy to get caught out at this level with the ball behind the full back. Personally not sure which of the two is the better choice at the moment.

I only listened yesterday but I wasn’t bowled over by hadergonaj at all last week. He had more of the ball in attacking positions and with space than any of our full backs have had all season but he didn’t have it in his game to ever go past his man. I understand why he freshened it up but for me I’d have kept smith in 1 more game against WB to help him get his confidence back.
Having hader in is similar to playing THD last year. Ok as back up but very clearly only ever back up.
I’m staggered he didn’t bring smith back in at Bournemouth- None of our 4 piece rock solid defence from last year played, & we paid for it.
Malone is the way forward at LB but he’s error prone defensively. Schindler, Zanka and smith are the other shoe ins. I would’ve played Hogg and Williams (with billing unfit again) because time and time again Mooy is not at it after the ridiculous flights to play some minnow or other.
We have such a small squad and even fewer who are cutting it at this level we just can’t afford injuries and child birth- not a dig at Hogg but his 3rd child and we had no cover in CM. He had to play yesterday.

Tommy Smith had a superb season 2016/17, this season very hit & miss, was woeful at Anfield, not a shoe in sadly this season. Flo & Malone were refreshing v WBA, Tommy has to fight for his place, back in the team - UTT.

Flo looks a big improvement on Smith to me. He is always looking to play a forward pass whereas Smith is forever giving it back to Lossl or Zanka. Whether either are really good enough for this level is another debate though
