I'm just happy he managed to do a post slagging them off without mentioning Tom fucking Ince 😉😂😂😂 No need Porro, I've already been proved 100% correct in my observations of Ince and Diakbenza as you know. I rest my case. Still hoping we can bring Tom home in the summer using the Mbenza refund. That would be a cracking deal, don't you think? The reported £3.5m loan fee ? Should be able to bring him back with that.....and have some change 😉😁

I prefer Flo to Tommy Smith, far better footballer imo Neither of them are anywhere near PL level.

Tommy Smith has spent a lot of the time since we arrived here injured. He was championship RB of the season prior to that, I'd never fancy Flo's chances of winning the same prize.

Seems strange that he is a non playing captain rare and odd. He did well in the championship but that was back then dont fancy him for next year in the championship. Flo would be a much better choice imo

Flo has been terrible but at least he resembles a fullback. There's a reason they haven't been given a run in the team and we see it every time they get on the pitch. the reason was Dave had fallen out with the bloke who brought them here and they did not get much of a chance to play enough.. once they play enough in proper games, playing their proper roles we can all give a more rounded opinion of them? at least they have not flattered to deceive? I give you Zanka....flo at least half the time and mounie on a regular basis.. the excuses given are we do not really 'play' to their strengths, de ja vu? If you're referring to the alleged fallout with DW and Olaf, you couldn't be more wrong. Absolutely NO fallout.

Flo would be a much better choice imo Tommy Smith is a guy with limited ability who through hard work, decent coaching and determination turned himself from a lower division player into a pretty useful championship defender capable of doing a job in the premier league. Flo has way more natural talent and ability but needs to seriously man up if he is going to get in ahead of Smith.

Im aware Smith has been injured but he has been available on several occassions and not selected. He always turns back when in possession and plays the ball backwards or sideways. His positioning defensively was poor against Citeh. If we start using him next year i will be disappointed. Probably likely to see out his career at Tranmere he should do ok there. If we are looking to people like Tommy Smith in the future we are going nowhere. Flo isnt without his faults but he could develop into a stronger and better player. Id be looking for better than both of them if we are to make a serious effort to get back into the Premier League.

He played the sideways / backwards game probably upon instruction (don't give the ball away) from Wagner. Have you forgotten the marauding runs / overlaps with Kachunga he regularly made in the Championship ?

So many fans moan about other players passing sideways/backwards when it is obvious to me that were under strict instructions. Last two matches we finally started getting the ball forward. When Mooy gets back let us see how things go.

Nobody needs to worry about mbenza anyway. He's on loan. I thought that we were committed to buy at the end of the loan period. My marble collection is much diminished so I would be grateful if anyone could confirm my recollection.

Have you forgotten the marauding runs / overlaps with Kachunga he regularly made in the Championship ? It probably was on Wagners instruction but he still gave the ball away with an inaccurate pass or two. Against Citeh on more than one occassion he was in acres of space, the sort of space Mounie & Depoitre can only dream of, trouble was Citeh were attacking at the time. He cant bring that to the Premier league ( overlaps ) cant or wont maybe. I remember him getting caught way up the field when attacks broke down in the Championship - DW would have been wise to advise against that in the Prem. Smith : Its a no from me this year or next and hope Siewert re distributes the arm band to someone on the pitch.

Sorry I disagree - Flo is one of the worse full backs I have ever seen at town. Andy Holdsworth would have been more reliable. How many elite top league appearances did Andy get? I forget. None which makes it even worse that I’ve had to watch FH all season.

Always go with the bloke who gets nothing out of the incident.. seems some believe Dave never fell out with anyone?? We were becoming the 'fairy story' club, the one with sugar and spice and all things nice?

To be fair to Dave if I asked for 3 top quality attackers and quality backup for the CM and keeper positions this season and someone brought me those 5 and sold my best winger and it ended up costing me my job, my reputation and countless sleepless nights I'd also be pretty pissed off. Who was in the right? We pretty much know for a fact the 5 players aren't good enough so that answers the question IMO. You'd have to be a saint not to be pretty pissed off surely? I know I am (pissed off not a saint)!

When Mooy gets back let us see how things go. Not neccesarily. You cant pass the ball forward if the movement in front of you is crap and everyone is stood still/marked - unless you just lump it regardless but then folk would be moaning at that. Not saying that was always the case and we have gone into our shell a bit with safety first but too much is laid at the door of the manager, especially when we do have probably the most limited squad in the division.

I know I am (pissed off not a saint)! there is maybe a question of money??? availabity and players wanting to come here??? not sure we are in the Premiership 'magnet' league... again the 'facts' are open to question as to the useability of the players we brought in.. maybe Wagners creed of getting em young and developing them, which once matched the clubs, went out of his window at some point? I liked Wagner but I know he wasn't a saint with beard and glasses, especially when it started going very much against us.. If the players stay with us and become 'something' clearly the 'legend' will be very badly dented? but perhaps not, will still get those who wont accept that he might have let his ego drive the situation.. by the way if you asked for 3 top quality strikers, Dean might have said, who the fuck do you think we are?? truth is we are Huddersfield Town and even with the premier money we are competing with what always look to agents as a better bet..

I think how Smith played prior to DW's arrival still colours a lot of people's opinions of him.
He played alright against Man City and I think the Wolves win was his last appearance before that, where he was excellent in the back 3. I've seen more Premier League quality stuff from him than I have from Flo, who is the weak link of the defence and attack simultaneously.
