Durm in for Lowe
The option then is who replaces Zanka: Stankovic and keep the 3511/5311 shape or a Sobhi figure and push to a Venables-esque 4321?
Given we have 4 points from the previous 2 games I'd envisage the former.

Both Merse and Lawro seem to be basing the probable result on how Wolves played against Arsenal but not how we played against WHU (although the scores were the same)

Bloody funny that. They are all in denial that their model of Football club is pretty grubby. They should tank us on Sunday tbh. They're like a junior version of Man City (Abu Dhabi allstars). According to them we'll soon be back in League 2 where we belong. I'd rather that than follow a foreign billionaire's plaything.

I haven't said they aren't but slagging them off in their own paper before the game seems an odd thing to do. Did he slate City in the MEN in August ?

They think Huddersfield is a mining town the thick twats.
When they were in the fourth division they averaged 4000.

Didn’t realise we were playing a club of a similar stature to Man Utd or Liverpool on Sunday. Funny what a bit of cash does to the brain.
Historically they’ve had more success than us but I genuinely don’t consider Wolves to be that much bigger than us. Hardly one of the clubs that get the juices flowing are they.
They never use to sell out here and when they ain’t doing well there home support is poor. Wouldn’t surprise me if the catchment area of Hudds and the surrounding area is actually bigger than Wolverhampton.
It’s just another one of them irrelevant, small time places which you would never visit unless your club plays there.
Very bizarre attitude the fans seem to of picked up.

I have always thought Wolves as a big club. I remember when they played Burnley in the Members cup final at Wembley and sold out, over 80,000 there. Steve Bull and Andy Mutch up front, great strikers. They have had time in the lower leagues like most clubs but they are well supported and turn out in numbers. I have no issue with them at all, don't really get the beef. Weirdly one of my favourite ever games that didn't involve Town was cup game at Molineux against Palace, it was amazing, every goal a worldy, cant remember what year, in the 90's.

I think if you read the threads on Molineux Mix you might change your opinion. Talk about unmerited arrogance. Fair play to those going to Wolves on Sunday but it's not much of a draw for me. Tea time on a Sunday, very uninteresting venue/area,on TV anyway.

Hope we can get something. Could go either way, first goal is crucial.

It makes WACCOE and Owlstalk look self deprecating. Now that takes some doing!

Personally, not bothered what a segment of Wolves fans think of Town. Most level headed fans appreciate history and tradition of which both clubs have lots and a good degree of success in recent times. Hope it's a great game. We had some good players ex-Wolves Kindon and Eves were great for us and think they had Parkin off us and of course Coady. Got my ticket this morning! Going on the Coach from PPG.

Clearly a lot of children on that site and not a reasonable cross section of Wolves fans. The 4000 who used to turn up in the 4th division will understand.

Remember one of Wolves fans walking away from our home game in 2016 (the promotion season) telling me we wouldn't last at the top, weren't a big enough club to go up and they had a billionaire owner and had so many great players they hadnt seen all their new signings play. Blah blah blah.
We went up and did it our way.
Year later, Wolves went up and blew away the competition in the process, they did it by appointing some agent and threw massive contracts at players.
Wolves will be in the premier league next season and we probably won't but there are several reasons why Id rather follow Town than them. We know we are punching above our weight but if, as it appears, Wolves supporters expect mid table premier league finishes, they must have been underwhelmed for all of my lifetime!

They think Huddersfield is a mining town the thick twats. When they were in the fourth division they averaged 4000. Wolves are nothing special at this level. They’ve had a good start but they’ve been lucky in a few games too. We’ve a good record there of late so I can see us picking up a point at least.
