Not sure if anyone has already mentioned it but I'm sure I heard talksport mention the other day that were linked with Macauley Bonne from Leyton Orient If there’s any truth in this, which I seriously doubt, there’s only one way we’re going. To be fair they did mention he was linked with 3-4 other prem teams, including Leicester.

I would expect we have people who scout for the youth teams too.

Out of all the rumours most realistic seems Maupay from Brentford. £12-13m and £3m if we stop up. If the worst happens we’ll have a proven championship striker not on ridiculous wages.

Was just assuming due to him being linked to a number of clubs. Not really old either mind. You can't always pick when deals come along. Adding potential to the squad if it's affordable should always be ongoing. If there is anything in it I seriously doubt it would be with the expectation he would rush in and save the season. I doubt we will have the cash to buy anyone who could guarantee that.

Which do you consider the easiest right now. Staying there or getting back there if we are relegated? Town have made giant strides, the lack of a striker will send all those giant strides back down a snake to square one. The only hope for survival is doing something in January. I would say neither is easier as they are both incredibly difficult. I am not disputing goals have been a problem for us but some seem to think that if we sign a striker or 2 that will guarantee us safety. We have made giant strides and we wont end up back at square one, not for a while anyway, square one was the bottom division, no matter what happens this season we are a long way from square one. It took 46 years to get back to the top division, it took one year to stay there. As it stands one is clearly easier than the other. Imagine it was another 46 years. Hanging on to your Porsche and maintaining it is easier than financing your first one.

Apparently we were scouting Patrik Hrosovsky of Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday. Slovakian midfielder. Not sure how accurate the rumours are but whoever posted it has over 20k followers.

Odion Ighalo who used to play for Watford could do a job I'm sure he could, but when he's collecting 200k a week playing against Chinese farmers, i don't think a return to the premier league is top of his agenda.

I was in Leeds last night in spearmintrhinos and I saw danny Williams talking to dean hoyle in the corner . I when over there to ask for a picture, as I got closer I swear I saw a A3 picture for peter crouch’s face with the next ‘must Sign sign if stay up’ they quickly put it away and I got my picture. Later that night I was in the McDonald’s on Leeds road in the toilet dean walked in , on the phone and said “yeah we need that gangly basted if we want to score any goals this season” I don’t know but maybe? I think it’s is pretty reliable. Thought us signing Peter Crouch.

We need two strikers in January, Mounie and Depoitre have failed to score a single goal. Neither should start for the foreseeable future. One loan with the commitment to play them regularly if necessary. And a transfer record breaking seasoned striker with goals in him. Nothing less will lift us out of the relegation zone.

Shinji Kagawa from BVB is looking for a move. Think he’d be the type that could fit in quickly and has a successful background. Played under Klopp. I would think Wagner would know him. He’s struggling to get game time in front of Marco Reus.

Kagawa and Okazaki would be great signings for us. You would have to think kagawa is on big money but maybe a loan move for him perhaps

Yesterday was wearily inevitable. We lack the craft to break teams down who are happy to defend: Swansea last season, Cardiff, Palace and Newcastle this. It’s no coincidence we looked better against Bournemouth, Surs, Liverpool etc.
Sadly, the stats lie and what looks like us dominating and playing well is often teams utterly controlling where we have possession and rarely being troubled.

Wouldn’t mind Michael Gregoritsch from Augsburg. 6’4”. Austrian. Cam play Centre mid, attacking mid or up front. About 15 goals in 35 for them, mainly from the midfield positions.

FFS don't let anybody at the Club responsible for the last two transfer windows near the purse strings.

Now they look more like going down than up, I'm sure they won't be able to hold out for as much. I'd say this one is quite likely to happen although I'm not sure he's anywhere close to good enough for the Premier League

FFS don't let anybody at the Club responsible for the last two transfer windows near the purse strings. It’s not just who we sign but the shocking deals we’ve seemingly done Kongolo - great player that he is - was sold to Monaco for €15m in 2017. He played 5 games for them and came to us on loan. We then paid €20m, a 33% profit for Monaco Limbomde - for the world looked to be signing for us for €12m - it fell through and Nantes got him in the same window for just €7m - over 40% less Mbenza - pretty sure I read Montpellier couldn’t believe what we were prepared to offer It doesn’t bode well when clubs know we pay over the odds - even worse when they know we’re desperate
