Lee Johnson for me - done a great job at Oldham, Barnsley and Bristol. A very hardworking guy who's enthusiasm would rub off on the players and would have experience in the championship to have a good crack next season! Surely not only bigger tosser than him, his old man!

If its big Sam then im going to FO to Spain and bever come back. I honestly would not come to a single game if that chubby, money-grabbing oily twat was in charge. I’d rather get somebody who can give us a good attacking side next year in the championship than have him trying to “save” us. Fortunately it shouldn’t happen as we are already beyond redemption and that would f@ck his CV up. Cant see Allerdyce getting it, but if he did take over and we miracurously stayed up he`d be the toast of Huddersfield and we`d all love him... and thats a fact.

Arteta - surely he wants a crack at being a number one by now? No better place to start then at Town. Now that would be an interesting appointment. Played under Wenger and schooled in management next to Pep. Young, attack minded coach. Would he leave the riches of Man City for the challenge of keeping us up and arguably the challenge of then bringing us back up? Shy bairns and all that as they say in the NE... Not sure, dunno what he’s on there either. But we can offer him the chance to build something, put his ideas into practice under a chairman who will back him and not give him the bullet as soon as results drop. That plus the new training facility may be a big pull? I don’t think there’s a much better club for an up and coming manager who wants to make a name for themselves.

Would you accept Wagner having 6 months off and Hudson taking it till then, Wagner hopefully come back rejuvenated? No. Neither would Dean Hoyle. I think people on here are on some serious substances.

I think people on here are on some serious substances. You know that as a fact then. Wow, you sound to have first hand knowledge of how Dean thinks. For the record I can see a lot of merit in the idea although it does seem unlikely.

No statue, not even a bench with a brass plaque on it.

On balance and considering the past three years, we can near guarantee it won’t be either of those fucking dinosaurs (Big fat Sam or Moyes) as the bookies say. Can’t we?
Our entire system and ethos (tactics, scouting, academy and plans for the new training complex etc) has been designed to mimic that of European clubs, particularly German. We might as well tear everything up and start again if either of those two manage to get in. Investment; time, money and effort wasted.
Besides. Big Fat Sam would be out the door after two weeks, caught in bed with a fake Sheikh in Bradistan, promising all the clubs riches in return for a hareem in Dubai. Local cuisine would be a draw to him though - May save us a few bob on wages if we just get him a booth in Lala’s.

I don’t see any of the usual suspects being offered the job, or being interested for that matter. Big Sam doesn’t feel like a Deano type of appointment or fit in with with the ‘ethos’ we have developed over the past few years. Jokanovic built a really attractive promotion winning side at Fulham but he seems like the type of chap who ‘chases the dollar’, never staying at any one club for any great length of time. He left Watford after getting them promoted because he couldn’t agree terms with their board. My money would be on someone with a Dortmund connections or Bundesliga experience coming in to work with the remainder of the management team. Maybe on a contract to the end of the season ? The ex Liverpool assistant Buvac is a good shout - he did spring to mind as soon as I heard the news re Wagner. It’s just as likely it will be someone we have never heard of however

Always thought Gary Bowyer did a good job, under very difficult circumstances at both Blackburn and Blackpool. Could be a safe, steadying pair of hands until the summer or even in the Championship. He's a very intelligent and qualified fella too, who could help mould Hudson and Whitehead.
