If this is true then DH has clearly had a name in mind for a while. Infact I wouldn't at all be surprised if the recommendation has/had come from Wagner himself.

Would be funny if Arteta was taking the Man City warm down, jogged over and signed the contract then back over to say goodbye to the lads. Then wangles a load of decent loan signings from Pep.

It'll be Mark Hudson until the end of the season, after gaining his first 3 points of his managerial career.

Does this mean the new manager will be announced on Sunday evening or after Sunday evening ? Quite a difference in time scale. The way I read it is nothing will happen before the next game & not necessarily any time soon.

It'll be Mark Hudson until the end of the season, after gaining his first 3 points of his managerial career. Would it be odd to 'announce' Hudson though? Surely if we wanted Hudson to see the season out, we'd just let things be and hold an official appointment in the summer. Can't help but feel this suggests someone else coming in.

That clearly reads as pretty much straight after the match on Sunday.

Hope so. In our promotion season Fulham were mustard in front of goal. They put 9 or was it 10 past us home and away?

People saying it’s going to be Hudson, surely if it’s Hudson we’d just announce he’s got it until the end of the season?

Gotta imagine its Jokanovic and that's the reason he rejected stoke.

It will be Hudson. They won't be able to keep a well known name under wraps until Sunday

Got to say I am surprised about the announcement coming so soon. Not sure what to make of that.
Either we had a succession list and it is someone internal, or things were already in motion knowing that Wagner had said he needed a break after the season.
Will be interesting to see who it is.

I'm sure the planning has been done as soon as DW intimated his desire for a break. It will be another left field appointment like DW was.
