Jan Siewert favorite now. Could this be people adding 2 + 2 =5? JokanovicPros - Out of a job, nice footie, proven record of doing well at Watford and Fulham, 45% win ratio. Cons - Wage demands more expensive(?), couldn't do it with £100 million worth of players, never been north of Watford, different playing style. SiewertPros - Similar playing style to DW(?), previous coaches off the Dortmund u23 production line have done well, probably quite cheap, 55% win ratio. Cons - How's his English, and will he be able to settle (family situation)? Presently in employment. Can he produce it in the PL/Championship? If I was to guess which of the two it might be I'd plump for Siewert because he's the type of manager that Town would have been looking for to replace DW whatever the situation with results. Right... Moyes it is then!

It's obviously not someone at the club - they would announce it rather than let folk speculate. I imagine we've been planning for wagners departure for a long time, with a list of potential candidates such as the dortmund guy being checked out but jokanovic might have been put to the top of the list, im not wildly excited by him but i cant say why I wasn't excited about him either, until I looked up his record. Back to back league and cup doubles with Partizan Belgrade, left by mutual consent. A league championship in his only year in Israel. For some reason he took on the bottom team in the Spanish second division for the last 5 games of the season, won only one game and they were relegated. Fourth manager in five weeks at Watford in October 2014 and won promotion that season. Promotion, from nowhere earlier in the season, at Fulham. Having worked for the billionaire at Fulham, who demanded immediate success and who gave him too many players to choose from, (not a problem here) he might like working with Dean. Only been sacked once, I think. The Dortmund guy is the same age as Hudson, but fully qualified perhaps. If we could get around the licence business, why would we appoint someone like Siewert when our own guy has been with the club 4 years and has been learning from the Master? I hope it's one of these three. Thanks id not properly looked into it - certainly a decent record. Cant comment too much on hudsons and Siewart's coaching ability, but I think a benefit of siewart over perhaps hudson would be would be the knowledge he would bring. both of the inner workings of a big club and also the player knowledge. this was so important under wagner he will no doubt have a good knowledge of european youth players and also possibly some dortmund first team targets they are such a fantastically well run club which gives me confidence he's probably a decent coach

Just been down to stadium shop to buy my son a ball. Guess who was there to sign the ball? None other than Alan Shearer himself. I will try and forward the pic on my mobile when I get home. You should have signed his balls with a branding iron... Great striker, establishment pundit...

Jokanovic, was lined up to start in summer as Dean knew Wagner was crying off. Turned down Forest as a result. Asked him to start earlier after yesterday.
All guesswork obviously but the only way I can see them guaranteeing an announcement on Sunday. Can't even be interviewing folk.

Or insert anyone else’s name who isn’t currently actively employed at a football club. I think there’s a pool of just over 7 billion people who fit the criteria?!

According to Nixon, Jokanovic was in detailed talks with Forest, but was asking for too much money - that's why it fell through.

Jokanovic was first choice for Forest apparently. Wanted too much money. Does that rule us out ? I have no idea. Forest apparently couldn't afford to give Heff a decent contract without Town discounting the fee. I would have though the budget he'd want more a sticking point than his salary.

Not an easy job trying to either keep town up or bring them straight back up especially with the squad we have got at present
Big deal here is to try and keep our " BEST PLAYERS " like Mooy and Billing ,and we will have the parachute payments that will go along way to paying their wages
We must try and re build on the good achieved by Wagner, and maybe start that re building plan now if a new manager is coming in on Sunday

Jokanovic would be a disaster !, lets just let Hudson get on with this disastrous season unless we are going to spend 200 million to try and stay in the premier. This is not an option so keep doing our best/worst with squad we've got until end of season, no more Carlos kickaballs!!

I'll be amazed if there is an appointment announced by Sunday. Commercially it makes sense to announce on Sunday, since season card renewals for 2019/20 go on sale the day after. A well received appointment will help get sales off to a decent start.
