Zeljko Buvac left his role at Liverpool yesterday..
Seen his name mentioned a couple times on here, he was linked with the Arsenal job in the summer I recall.
It's looking like Siewert is the favourite but maybe Buvac could be our man. Wagner will know him from Dortmund.

Its a great track record but the longer it goes on the more likely the next one is a dud. There is no magic formula and the streak of good coaches will end. Hope it's not with this guy thats all. but Dean knows what a good coach looks like doesn't he? I don't know if he does or not. If he gets 2 in a row right though then maybe he does, time will tell. I am not trying to be negative about the guy, just think Wagner was a long shot that paid off, and this looks like another long shot and I hope it pays off too.

In all seriousness i would like to know whether mr wolf was considered for this role. I mean this guy is a future champions league winner. We could of got him if we wanted. Hannes has a 46percent win ratio. Wolf has already guided one team into the bundesliga with another enroute. Are hoyle and co even aware that a manager by the name of hannes wolf exists? He wasnt even on the betting from what ive seen. The only mention coming from me. You mean its not the same hannes wolf who is 33/1 with skybet?

I'm struggling to see anything in this guys locker thay warrants him getting the town job. The research I have done on him doesn't sound great. This is from a Rot Weiss fan: ”In my opinion, by far the worst coach ever to work for RWE - even ahead of the legendary Heiko Bonan.” As opposed to: "I am now 33 years old. Humanly, I have not had a better coach so far, "says Massimo Ornatelli. All this quote says is that a non league footballer thinks he is a nice guy not a great coach. Humanly is about how he interacts with players not improves them. Really worried with this appointment. We are not where we were when we appointed Wagner. Just like last summer would have been easier than now to solve the attacking problem, getting the right manager in now would be easier than it will be if we are in relegation trouble in the Championship next season. Anybody that thinks we can carry on losing and it wont affect our ability to keep, sign players in the summer or the confidence of players we are left with, or the confidence of the manager is dreaming. This appointment has to improve things straight away. Sunday was poor, as good as Hudson might be he isnt great yet. The team selection was poor and the performance was flat. City were poor and lucky and we couldn't take advantage.

Confirmed by a guy I talked to drinking super strength lager by the side of the canal, just behind Sainsbury's. That was me just before I went to do my shift as a lollipop man. Lol
