Sabiri quoted as wanting to go back to Germany for a fresh start. Werder Bremen and Frankfurt interested. Could see it coming with his lack of involvement.
What a baffling signing all round. Arrives with some hype, is given the number 11 shirt, breaks into the team, gets an assist on his full debut, and then drops off the face of the earth. Reappears briefly at Bournemouth and is injured within 5 minutes. Has since been injured/unable to break into the team but is playing and scoring for the Germany under 21s all the while.

I’d be playing the lad next season, end of. Watch him go elsewhere and become a good player.

Played half an hour for Germany U21s a month ago yet hasn't even made one of our first team squads under Jan! Whilst at the same time, Jan talking about wanting to look at all the players ahead of next season.... I think he'll be a decent player from what little we've seen and definitely a useful option for the #10 role in the Championship.

Getting in Germany U21's can't be that easy, its a strange one.

Not done enough to force his way into the side as yet hope we can find someone who can push us on.

I acknowledge your view and fair enough. I personally wouldn’t want him and think we should be getting better players. If he comes here and does a job as a third choice striker then great. I hope we have 3 strikers playing for 2 positions, with all 3 strikers good enough to start, rather than a third choice striker who is only good enough for a 10 minute cameo every now and then. I'm convinced Rhodes would score goals for us, he has a strike ratio of just over a goal every 2 games in his career, ok mainly with Town and Blackburn but since leaving Blackburn, for whatever reason it's not worked for him but you don't stop being a goalscorer especially when you've banged in as many as he has. Siewert wants to play a pacy, counter attacking 433 so where does the slowest striker going, who can't play up front on his own, fit in ?

Well if the rumour is true why would we be looking at him if he didn't fit in to that system? In all honesty I'm no fan of 4-3-3 and unless they spend a load of brass on quality then it's a difficult formation to carry off.

Theres no way I would let Sibiri leave - especially if we lose Mooy. The fact thats hes just broken into the German U21 and two Bundesliga teams are after him says everything.

Agent, his Dad, drumming up interest, and an easy simplistic link to Town. Then again, he could be a relatively (if wage demands sensible) inexpensive way to have a plan B type option. And for me, whatever formation, we are in need of quality across the pitch. It is going to be a long summer I would guess.

Sabiri had a bad attitude according to his last club so that could explain why he isn't featuring

He might turn out to be a good player elsewhere as may half the deadbeats that are with us.
Reality is hes done the square route of naff all for us. Couldnt care less if he left. The squad needs a big revamp.

The squad needs a big revamp. Agree. I don't think there's a chance he is going to stay anyway, not if he's already had his head turned. He's not had a chance here so let him go for the good of his career.

Charlie Austin can leave the saints. I think he could be a good signing for us Last type of striker we need we need a pacy mobile striker who can play on the deck who give defenders nightmares with movement.

For God’s sake, do not mention the dreadful Charlie Austin as a potential Town recruit. Awful player who got greedy and lost his pace. Injury prone. Also, and not least, a w****r. Recall St Mary’s last season.

People saying Bradley Dack and Maupay still? Missed the boat with these, they will be quoted at about £20m as absurd as the prices are. For that i wouldnt even bother

Id really like to keep sabiri i think hes a talent, but you have to ask why he's not getting in. Especially given we have a german known for working with youth and who was likely aware of him before even arriving.

Think we are in a better position to pick up some German striker than we were last time at this level.

Is it just me or is it impossible to read any internet article without being hit with about 10 ads? So annoying Don't really know how Maupay would fit into a 4-3-3 but you can never have too many good players I guess
