yes. As in not definite. Rumours I have heard are that Dean has agreed to sell to the American dude that was touted in here a few months back and will be announced at this match. I've no idea how accurate but certainly had my interest. I’ve heard the same but that it’s a local buyer. Michael Knighton?

Best away fans I've seen in the PL in terms of noise. Maybe but lots of scum, after cup game last year on northumberland street trying to fight shirts and normal fans, giving it all we are biggest club. If you respect scum like that good luck to you. But they are the biggest club

Back to the our ground has remained pretty much full, did anyone see Man. City v Cardiff during the week? It lived up to its Emptyhad nickname, hundreds of empty blue seats, reasonably priced (for modern day PL standards), nice, modern stadium, fabulous, attack minded team chasing an unprecedented quadrupal and opponents likely to yield lots of goals. Yet just 20 years ago a shite team in Div. 3 could sell out 30,000+ for a shot at the play offs ? Some thing's not right in PL world and the administrator's and big 6 clubs need to have a long hard think about where they are going. ...who went about winning simply because they had better players and just kept on going through the motions repeatedly as they knew they were individually much better and ultimately would more than likely win. Football is utterly rubbish as a spectacle when the sides aren’t close enough to be competitive, and the better sides have too much else they don’t want to risk...City should be turning it on, demonstrating some fabulous attack minded football and scoring 4+ goals per half (and maybe conceding a couple over a game) against teams like Cardiff and Town. They do “just enough”....utterly tedious, no wonder there were so many empty seats...(yes, I did watch the whole game, as I was hoping to see some fabulous attack minded football 🤷♂️🤣)....the commentators sounded like they were on the verge of nodding off even!

Huddersfield Grammar. Didn't he end up with Carlisle. He went out to buy Man U and ended up with Carlisle! I once went out to buy a car and ended up with a copy of Razzle. Similar shopping trip and I felt a wanker too.

Wankers sky It also now clashes with the localish final stage of the TdY which goes from Halifax to Leeds on the Sunday. Plus it’s Bluebell Trail that morning if there’s any other crazy runners out there like me who are now going to have a bit of a rush on 🤬 (Although, should make it, unlike you 🤷♂️😕)

That’s embarrassing really, especially when you consider how dangerous the ropewalk normally is for away fans. A lion's den.... Do folk still queue in a straight line in there for a drink? I've never seen that in any other pub, ever. Old Bridge at Holmfirth, It was cracking the flags the night the clone roses played at the picturedrome. Id had two pints already there and went back in for a third to be refused a drink on the basis i'd not queued. I told the muppets behind the bar that i hadn't had to queue over the winter when barely anyone else was in, but it didn't wash and told them id take my custom to the Nook. I aint been in since. In my experience those that line up are those who don't frequent the pub very often. They don't get out much.

I can half understand it at a cheapy food chain pub but I will never form an orderly queue at a conventional pub. It is plainly wrong.

Seen wankers try to start a queue in the Magic Rock before a match before. Thankfully the barman told them we don't queue in here.

Why are they messing around with this. Thought Sky chose it as a TV game. They changed their mind now.

Sunday kick off works great for me, means I can attend something on Saturday that I thought I'd have to cancel. Cheers, Sky. It's an ill wind and all that...

Liverpool due to play Sunday that weekend now have Barca on the following Tuesday and spurs were due to play Monday now have Ajax on the Wednesday (think I have this right!), so maybe our game being moved now to accommodate them.

suggest we hold fire, arrange the game with 15 minutes notice and get a right old head start before they get here on their coach??? could be a draw?
