Isn’t it simply because.... Spurs have Champions League game on the Wednesday (and remember the entire squad has to report at the stadium for Champions League fixtures 24hrs ahead of kick off at be available for all sorts do media stuff), but also they are currently scheduled to have a televised game away at Bournemouth on Monday evening. That would mean them having just Tuesday morning to do a recovery and injury discovery session ahead of flying out. Quite reasonably they will have asked to move their Bournemouth fixture back to Sunday or even Saturday...it could be that they get our slot, and our game becomes the Monday night TV game. Of the games in matchweek 37, ours is the easiest to move as it impacts the least number of fans and involves least impact on travelling arrangements for away fans. Throw in that Liverpool face Barcelona on the Tuesday (albeit at home) and are also a televised game away at Newcastle on Sunday and they probably want to shuffle their Sunday game back to 2pm or even Saturday too. Since when have sky been bothered about inconveniencing away fans,it does all get rather confusing dosn`t it,i know its a topic thats been done to death but on a similar vein at one time there would be a full div 1 fixture list on he saturday, and England would be playing a world cup qualifier on the tuesday/wednesday, how times have changed, anyway looks like things are as they were now. In what way are Sky inconveniencing fans?

Never been an issue for me other than once...that I'm willing to forgive given the millions they give to the club.

Never been an issue for me other than once...that I'm willing to forgive given the millions they give to the club. It obviously affects some fans more than others, booking time off work, planning and paying for travel/train tickets, then it can be changed on a whim.I realise theres nothing we can do about it, but its frustrating when you`ve made plans and all of a sudden you have to change those plans, or even miss out because of other priorities.

Maybe so. I just find that kick offs aren't really changed on a whim, there's loads of notice...and I don't go around organising how and if I can get to a football match 5 weeks in advance. People moaning that the Man U game might be moved from the Sunday KO that it's been scheduled in for ages... Might. But wasn't. Wonder how Town fans are coping in some alternative universe where we get to the Champions League semis and find out what COUNTRY we're playing in with 3 weeks notice!?

A lot of fans like to buy cheaper rail tickets and not pay through the nose nearer the time.

Perfect example, buying a cheaper train ticket and then the fixture date being changed happened to me twice last season, i accept its the risk you take but still frustrating when it happens.

If they play as bad as they did today against Everton, we may have a chance 😉

If they play as bad as they did today against Everton, we may have a chance 😉 Not a chance of that! Some of the stick from pundits afterwards, Gary Neville especially, was brutal. If only the pundits cared or knew more about us, they would’ve been equally as scathing but on a far more regular basis. Some of our players could do with a reality check.

Our successes in this league have always been based on sound defence. I don’t think the players are behind the manager at all and that’s especially why they don’t really care right now and don’t try very hard.

Love the optimism Nick but we won’t get another point again this season & I can see us getting absolutely mullered at Liverpool on Friday, to the point it could be extremely embarrassing for us.

Any other hopefuls in the kids teams that would relish an opportunity to play in the first team

Surely up there for longest winless run What about lowest ever premier league attendance ever Bournemouth v Huddersfield 9,980 Siewert up there for what i seem to remember being for the longest total amount of defeats in a row for a new manager as recently mentioned by the media

I think Phil McNulty has the ability to be an arse at times. This piece on the back of last night is symptomatic of the obsession with the top 6, his article suggesting Man Utd are in disarray is, in context of the majority of pro football clubs, a load of bollocks... I imagine he would have also had another piece pre-penned & waiting for stuff from the game to fill in a few gaps, that will have been similar to this one, but citing the re-birth of Man Utd, had they spanked City 3-0... Football eh... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48042480

Let me know how we could do anything at all to avoid that one? That's before allowing for additional context - a significant away trip, midweek, with another expensive trip following 3-4d after this game... But you crack on with the negativity...

Apparently United haven’t scored in open play for 527 minutes, had no shots on target against Barcelona, one against Everton and one last night - makes us look positively lethal in front of goal. Don’t worry though Ole, only 10 days to wait for normal service to be resumed👍
