Is this sky coverage merged with the spurs channel? Literally no mention post match on town, mounie header, bacuna free kick, stankovic chance or even JS interview Even the spurs fans must be bored hearing about the new stadium effect for the 10th time in 30 mins Awful production I think it was a fair reflection of the amount town contributed to the match personally. There’s no wonder we’re being ignored, in fact it’s become a blessing. The 2 take comments I heard is they might struggle next season if they’re not careful and surely you ought to be playing your best player. They stopped short of saying they need to get rid of that new guy sharpish, he’s destroyed anything they ever had within 3 months.

Spurs paid Southampton £11m for Wanyama. Sissoko cost Newcastle £1.5m when they bought him from Toulouse. I know he went for more when Spurs bought him but his physical attributes of pace and power were there for all to see before that. The players are there if you know where to look. Sissoko cost spurs £30m. Newcastle bought him cheaply in January when his contract was about to expire. Southampton paid £13m for wanyama. Looks like spurs may have got him for £11m because he was out of contact at the end of the season. Thing is, Spurs, like a few other clubs, can spend £11m on a player and then loan them out, or stick them on the bench. That's not just one player either, that might be 3 or 4. They were all talking about Moura after the game and wondering if he'll make the team vs Man City... We've never had that sort of luxury and don't expect we ever will. The only reason we have so much £'s sitting on the bench is simply because they're useless, out of form, or a bit of both... People can make all the points they want, but the financial disparity in this league plays a massive part in how the league shapes up every season. That's not sport, that's having a commercial advantage. The top 6 in the PL are also continually trying to increase the disparity and the other clubs have to take it on the chin because they know they'll be frozen out otherwise. I'll stop short of saying the PL is corrupt, but if you can't see how much influence there is off the pitch & in the boardrooms with these shithouses like Buck, then you're a little blinkered... BTW, not having a pop at you or the other poster - just seemed like a convenient post to try and make the point (again...). We're like a resurrected MySpace trying to compete against Facebook, or Ask Jeeves coming back to life and trying to challenge Google...

Erm well yes it wouldn’t really have been appropriate eh and truth be known they probably don’t give a fk like I do. It would have been true though wouldn’t it or do you disagree?

I disagree ‘the guy has destroyed everything we had’ True. But his naive & inexperienced way of going about things seems to have created nothing but disunity within the squad & is alienating fans. That can’t be argued against.

Unfortunately Premier League football is all about the money. Respect to your 3k who made the trip. Got chatting to an older HT couple, can't fault their dedication. It’s such a boring league now though with only 5 or 6 genuinely contetstable games. The rest are games the top 6 should win every week and almost always do. Teams 6-10 have a chance against 1-6 but no chance of competing for honours. It’s time the teams with £500M squads formed their own division possibly with Real, Barca, Bayern & Juve to make it more interesting. That would give those teams fans exciting games every week rather than yesterday’s procession which must’ve been equally boring for spurs fans as it was for Town fans and neutrals. Meanwhile the premier league becomes a reasonable contest again, from which promoted teams could make a challenge for honours within a few seasons. Currently the only way to even force yourself into the top 10-12 is to have a billionaire owner and pay crazy money for half decent players. £10M-£20M buys you nothing these days. It’s £30M for a striker who can score more than 5 in this league eg. Jimenez, Arnautevic, Felipe Anderson or moura.

Pace and power, how much for Sissoko and Wayamana, the two Spurs midfield enforcers today, now they did have some pace and power, whoever played for us today would have struggled. Spurs paid Southampton £11m for Wanyama. Sissoko cost Newcastle £1.5m when they bought him from Toulouse. I know he went for more when Spurs bought him but his physical attributes of pace and power were there for all to see before that. The players are there if you know where to look. That was quite a few years ago that they were scouted. It’s a lot more competitive now. There won’t be a decent player in Europe that one of the other prem clubs aren’t in for already or if they aren’t they will be as soon as they catch wind. As soon as that happens then you’re outbid by one of the other 18 teams. So you’re left with Moonie, diakhby and mbenza who no one else was in for...and we all know why now- because they’re all utter dog shit rip offs.

Very very boring watching it means too. Too boring for me anyway. I’ve better things to be doing with my time on this planet than watch a boring cup match week in week out with no chance of competing let alone winning.
