I did not attend the game yesterday (part timer) but WOW Jan well done , a manager showing real passion, fantastic. He needs to focus now on next season and install that same passion in our squad . WELL DONE JAN. Passion is all well and good, but it felt a bit misplaced at the time. We'd just had a half chance where Kachunga had taken an age to get a shot away at the back post and a promising move had again come to nothing. I think the theatrics might have been directed at the ref who failed to spot a foul on Mooy in the box as the cross came in. Didn't seem much in it to me. By comparison, Mounie's failure to play in Daly should have led to Siewert spontaneously combusting on the sideline. Sorry , I was unaware what sort of context his outburst was taken in , but it shows this guy cares in my opinion. I am certain some supporters will dislike this sort of outburst ,I personally love it, and that's what I want him to drill into our squad , passion. I think Jan could be a great success at Town , I just hope he is given the chance.

There’s no evidence of any plan tactically or otherwise. Anyone could stand on the touch line throwing water bottles around, that means nothing. Wagner’s promotion team played with passion and desire from him instilling a spirit through brilliant man management. This guy is clueless and it shows in the players. ‘Watford overload through the middle so I have a plan’ he said. Torn apart down the wings. Totally out of his depth, a joke of an appointment from the start.

Well if all this takeover talk is true then Jan won’t be at the club next season as the new owners will surely want their own man.

14 Defeats at home A record.....
Huddersfield Town have lost 14 home Premier League games this season, a joint record in the competition's history (also 14 for Sunderland in 2002-03 and 2005-06). Watford have won six away Premier League games this season, only winning more in a top-flight season in 1983-84 under Graham Taylor (seven). Huddersfield have lost 21 of their last 23 matches in all competitions (W1 D1 L21), losing 11 of their 12 games under manager Jan Siewert (W1 D0 L11). Gerard Deulofeu has scored six goals in his last five Premier League away games for Watford. Huddersfield have won none of the 45 Premier League matches in which they've conceded the first goal (W0 D3 L42), losing all 19 at the John Smith's Stadium when conceding first. In all competitions, Gerard Deulofeu has scored eight goals and assisted two more in his last nine appearances for Watford. Huddersfield midfielder Juninho Bacuna has started 15 matches for the Terriers in all competitions this season and ended on the losing side in all 15. Since his Premier League debut for Huddersfield Town on 2 February, Karlan Grant has scored four league goals - no other Terriers player has scored more than once in that time.

Losing to Watford is bad enough, but losing to Wakefield is worse

Wakefield probably would turn us over as well in fairness.

Totally out of his depth, a joke of an appointment from the start. I just believe the guy should be given a chance to show what he can achieve, he has inherited a dispirited and wounded squad, I did not expect him to work miracles this season , I will judge him next season though after 8-10 games , and if he is an abject failure I will hold my hand up and admit I was wrong about Jan . My guess and it is a guess , is that he is just trying to determine which players to keep for next season . I would hope that by the end of this season he will know who he wants to keep . I believe he is just experimenting , and why not, our season is over. We have nothing really to lose !

Only back in because our No 1 isinjured. What is your weird obsession with Hamer? You’ll still be talking about him in 2030, take his cock out your mouth. Does my head in how the complete retards on here just have to have a scapegoat. They cant go a week without blaming someone whereas other players are completely blameless even when they play like they can’t be arsed. Hamer might not become an England international but at least he puts in a shift whereas others quite simply don’t.

Wakefield probably would turn us over as well in fairness. Big rugby area isn't it? Well the media do portray us as some massive physical team who like to get stuck in and play percentages at times! BTW Does the fact Rugby League is played on your pitch affect the surface much? And is there a good relationship between the 2 clubs? We had Saracens for a while for about 6 season when we were in the Championship - probably fair to say both teams have moved on to better things now!

We get away with League a bit with it being a summer sport whereas union playing in winter when it's wetter/muddier would kill the pitch. The issue isn't so much league being played at the ground, it's more 2 sports being played at the same time, normally a day apart. The relationship between the 2 clubs isn't good, to put it mildly. You can thank the Giants' chairman Ken Davy for that, who also owned us after admin for a few years. The story is long and disputed but there were a lot of shady, behind back deals being done, such as transferring our 40% stake in the stadium to his own company for £2 (two pounds) without telling anyone and demanding £2m back for them 10 years later.

Agree he wasn't involved loads (understatement), but very tidy and not afraid to try something, when he did get it. Maybe tell him that trying to spin and turn with your first touch inside your own box isn't the best idea! I enjoyed that although it was the wrong place to show that skill.Im glad it didn’t go wrong and cost us a goal as would have hurt the lad.

Probably not between the two sets of fans, although I have no beef with them myself but I bet the two clubs rub along nicely on a day to day basis. It's Davey that's the issue.

If that was when Mounie didn't play the Young lad Daley in and then fell over I know how he feels. I did pretty much the same thing myself. It's when the ref blew the whistle to start the game. Perv

I was watching it live on the telly, Kachunga had just missed a shot, not an easy chance really, but JS went ape. The commentators were baffled, I was baffled, my fucking cat was baffled. Passion is good to see, but sadly he just looked ridiculous Not a manager I'm afraid.
