Hi everyone. I don’t make a habit of posting on other fans forums but on behalf of all of us who travelled up from Watford and I suspect most of our fans I just wanted to say that you will be missed next season.
For the last couple of years you have been far the best away support at Vicarage Road and our trips to Huddersfield are amongst our best away days.
Please don’t treat this as a patronising or gloating post as the premier desperately needs teams like yours and ours and we are also under no illusion that our time in the sun will come to an end eventually.
So here’s hoping for a swift return. It is always interesting reading other forums as they all tend to be more pessimistic then they should be. I know the results don’t lie but from my experience we have played far worse teams than Huddersfield this year and it does seem to be the case that small differences can make a great impact on success or failure.
Anyway I am off now and will not return so very best wishes for next season and I hope that we are playing you again soon in whatever league that might be!

Last season the home and away games with Watford were two of the best from a Town fans point of view, the away game this season was dire, at least yesterday the Watford fan's supported their team, unlike those dicks from Leicester the other week who just tried to take the piss. No doubt some Town fans will dismiss "hornetman" as being condescending but I for one thank him for his kind words and would like to think we can meet again sooner rather than later in the top tier, after all if an unfashionable town the size of Watford can thrive in the PL and get to the FA Cup final then so can Huddersfield.

Cheers Hornetman. One unmentioned thing that has impressed me is Vicarage Road. I went there years ago and stood behind the goal where the rake was so slight it was almost flat. Couldn't see a thing. Now it's a very tidy, welcoming place, good view, plenty of colour, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Far preferable to the big corporate places. I'll miss going. Good luck in the cup.

Kind words. Wouldn't expect anything less from Watford fans tbh. Cracking little club and I'd love to see them pull off a shock in the cup final.

I know we've not got a massive sample to choose from, but can't say there's been any Watford fan on here who hasn't been OK. Overall, the experience from opposition fans is vastly different from the EFL experience. There's still the odd dickhead like Sussex Nomad, but then again we've been rivals with them riding up through the leagues.
It will be vastly different next season, when we can welcome back Wed goons and a few other idiots. Thankfully we seem to have grown a few more idiots these last 2 seasons, so if they don't drift off then maybe they can just entertain one another...

Probably helps you have been kind about us which hasn't always been the case from others .
Mind you you've not nicked our manager or promotion/titles from us so there is mutual respect .

Had Watford nailed on for relegation this season.
I was wrong, they were class at Vicarage Road when we played and they've had a really good season.

Think they’ve got a cracking team for where you’d expect them to be. Deulofeu, Pererya, Doucoure, Hughes etc.. all cracking players all bought for very reasonable prices.
