For me, despite the london-centric media hype of him being one of our best players, in his year and 1/2 with us overall I've been disappointed in terms of goals and chances created.
He seems a very decent lad, works and tries very hard and has good technique. Also his through-ball to Mounie away at WBA last season was important in helping us stay up.
If we are mainly going to be playing a 433, unless he is in the centre 3 there is not going to be a huge amount of use for him. I could see him moving onto a southern/London based club in the bottom end Prem or the championship. Someone like QPR (if they can sign players again) or a relegated Fulham.
Best wishes to him if he does go.

I can't disagree with that. He's looked better under JS than DW when he's played, but he doesn't fit into 433. Unfortunately he's not got the speed or strength to play PL football, so Championship is probably his level. If someone offers us our money back on him I'd take it - like we did with Ince, who has similar limitations in his ability.

Was just about to post exactly the same. Will thrive in a top (ish) Championship side but lacks the physical strengh and guile to cut it in the Premier League.

Ince and Pritchard are exactly the players we need next season. did we sell Ince. Madness.

Why doesn't Seiwert play a different formation to suit the players attributes? It's not rocket science, play to the players strengths.

He has tried other formations but overall the players have still been crap. Today may have been the first time he's tried his preferred formation. He's been dealt a crap hand and is trying to make something out of it. Apart from Grant, all the attacking players we have are either injured, on loan somewhere else or crap. Not sure what else he could do.

Will be an asset in the Championship, obviously that depends on having a manager that will utilise him centrally. I don't think he fits Jans system but Jan might not necessarily be the manager.

If we get anything near what we paid for him I'll be delighted ! Figures eeked out of Dean Hoyle were £8Million then rising with add on's over time and various targets heading up to £11.5M. I guess we could get around £10M from the right club at the right time? This is keeping our books balanced gives Town a much stronger bargaining positions with any transfers this summer.

I'm also sure he won't have advocated keeping players in case of relegation, whilst relegation wasn't obviously on the cards. The holes and contradictions in the arguments of some of the persistent moaners are more embarrassing than the summer transfer window 😀 It's what you get when you type and hit 'create post' before you even think!

Tbf we threw away £20m on two wingers. Would think they'd be decent and better than Ince. Turns out they were both total flops. Vlp still better than Ince imo. How kachunga has played this season I'd say Ince is better. Kachunga will be decent for us next season, he's out of his depth in pl.

At the time you were happy to get rid.

Both of players menioned are just too lightweight for the rigours of what is a very physical and challenging division .Guess though its all about opinions.

Pritchard consistently loses what looks like 75:25 situations in his favour in the Prem. It's not through a lack of effort, he just covers the ground so slowly and has no physicality.
For me, he's been the most disappointing signing of the lot, although that is in part because I had high hopes, and I'm not even sure he'll work out for us in the Championship. It depends what system we play, because we all know he has performed at that level in the past.

Pritchard and Ince will never be up to Premier League football, far too slow
Pritchard will hardly feature if we stick with a 433 so if someone comes in with half of what we paid I'd sell him. If a new manager comes in and plays with an attacking midfielder behind a striker/s then I'd keep him

No one knows of any players that will be staying or going. Jan could get cross with someone one day and they’ll be banished from the squad forever

If Pritchard does go it will save the club 20 to 120 grand a week.

2 goals and 1 Assist since being at Town from an attacking player would suggest he should be getting the same abuse as Mounie et al. He’s not good enough and doesn’t fit the system anyway so I don’t mind him leaving.

433, much like man city, should see Pritchard in one of the two furthest forward central midfield positions. In a perfect world, Mooy and Bacuna would occupy the other spaces.
With Diakhaby, Grant and mbenza as the front 3, I think that'd work well against championship opposition.

He decided how he wanted the side to play & those players that weren't up to it were shipped out in favour of some who were.
