Everyone going mad and effing and blinding about Siewart and PH. They are new and you don't trust them. They have not been here 5 minutes and already we are calling them all the names under the sun and wanting them sacked and out. People, get a grip - one game in, it wasn't great and we are all fed up but for god sake if we all "go for the jugular", then what? You change the management, you still can't trust them because they are new, the team won't magically be tons better, nothing has really changed. We have to give them time in order for trust to be built . I fully admit that we may not like whats coming up, and there will be defeats along the way and we are going to have to suffer but we might get some success if we just lay off a bit and chill and take it one game at a time. Trust is earned, not gained overnight, this is going to take time folks. Patronising rant over! Not about trust, it's about results! - UTT.

Look at the cached version in google results if you search for the 2017 story and you’ll see the original line about the extra year was in there a few days ago. It’s very concerning that they have made a deliberate attempt to mislead fans in such a manner. Does anyone know if there was an option or not? Strange if there wasn't because literally nobody ever mentioned the fact our best player was into the last year of his contract. I wonder who at the club noticed the 'typo' and why they were looking? With PH it is all about trust. ....but how the f*** can you be expected to trust the club anymore when they plain & simply give incorrect information about Mooy's contractual position to supporters. They then reveal this on transfer deadline day when they're just about to loan him out having achieved nothing towards getting a replacement. People may have differing opinions on how you cultivate trust. Mine is what has happened over the last week is simply p*** poor. PS Off to QPR now. It's 48 years and 360 days since I saw my first match. My memory may be playing tricks on me but I can't recall (or imagine) that I've ever felt less like going to a game in that time. I think 1967 or 68 was my first game. And there have definitely been many worse times than this. I tried to choose my words carefully IG. Clearly there have been worse times on and off the pitch. .....but what I can't ever recall (& correct me if my memory is fading) is an occasion when the club have given is misleading information and tried to cover it up in such a pathetic manner. Additionally the silence from PH speaks volumes in my eyes. We've had no explanation of events (which on the face of it seem a cock-up from many points of view) nor any form of apology. It's like he doesn't give a sh8*te about the supporters being misled. What was great about DH as a custodian of our club was not just the money he put in but the manner with which he conducted himself. PH is I'm afraid falling way short of those standards at present IMHO. I simply can't see how anyone can say they have complete trust in PH when under his stewardship there has been such a clear example of the club trying to cover up (and re-write) events. I feel that is a disappointing position to be in hence why I didn't feel like a trip to London yesterday (although in the end it was enjoyable and nowhere near as bad as some are making out). PS Ken Davy was a weasel regarding shares but by the time this was revealed, DH was owner.

There never was an option of another year. It was a mistake on the website at the time that somehow went unnoticed. It was brought to the clubs attention what was on the website and they immediately corrected it. Poor that the info was incorrect at the time.

With JS it's nowt to do with trust. It's that he's not been very good. It's your memory and it's short term as going away last season meant discussing wether we would make a chance worth its name. Watching the last 25 minutes of games we were losing and knowing BOTH teams were running the clock down. In the last 50 years if you cannot recall many worse times you have selective memory or have been infected by the 'snowflake' generation. 🙊🙉🙈 I quite clearly didn't say these were the worst times I'd experienced (although last year wouldn't be close to being the worst either). That would be stupid. What I can't recall is the club mis-leading the fans, making a p***-poor effort at trying to conceal it and then not explaining the situation. In other words the current costodian of the club appearing to have little if any respect for the supporters. I've known a succession of chairmen who didn't have the funds to make us a top league team but none with this apparent disdain for the supporters. If that is my memory being selective enlighten me as to when that was. You use the phrase "snowflake" a lot. I'll confess I'm not 100% certain what it means but if you're implying it means that football supporters (or anyone for that matter) should expect to and accept being treated without the appropriate degree of respect and honesty or they're a "snowflake", then I suppose I am (& happy to be). Treating people with respect and being treated with respect is the minimum you should expect in life. PS .....& the club (& football industry) can't have it both ways. They can't sell the club as being our club, better together get behind the lads etc. etc. The whole football industry survives because of the (arguably irrational) bond between supporter and club. We clearly don't regard our consumption of football like going to Tescos. Given that how can they reasonably expect us not to question what has happened after weeks like the last one. You sound like you'd be from the "Oyston school" & that has been shown to be a recipe for disaster as people will only take sh*8te for so long - even if it's your football club.

How are we expected to trust a manager with no experience, an appalling win record and no tactical knowledge?
I would have more trust in Mick Wadsworth.
