What's happening with him? The game today was crying out for a player like him, especially in the second half to get us up the pitch, yet hes not even on the bench?

I thought the same. Whatever accusations you can level at him he's a great out to relieve pressure on the defence.

Wagner improved VLP,s work rate and he worked well with his full back. Our transition up the field was lightning quick with him in the team. Has mesmerising dribbling skills also. Stop freezing him out for Christ’s sake.

He openly came out and said he was ready to get back into the team and give 100%.
Scores a wonder goal at Donny and now hes nowhere to be seen. Baffling!

VLP being nowhere near the squad is one of just a few things Siewert's done right lately.
We're struggling whilst playing with 11 players.
Can't see us being much better with VLP and his 10 bystanders...

VLP has the talent on the pitch. He also seems to have the talent to wind up his manager, whoever that is. He could do with reining in his 'gobbing off' and concentrate on what he is potentially very good at, playing football.

If he cut out the show boating and learned how to cross the bloody thing then maybe, but until then its a no from me, Wagner, Pulis & Siewert.

Surely he’s going to get sanctioned for this. Maybe I’m reading too far into it, but to me this clearly shows there’s a rift between player and manager, and with a few other squad members liking it, maybe it’s more than just between RVLP and Jan.

His very intentional shit-stirring will only help the situation I'm sure.
He would've got us up the pitch and relieved a bit of pressure today, no doubt, but his personality is why I can't ever really say that I miss him.

I'm with Jan here, anyone who wears a hat indoors should not be in the squad and wants a kicking.

Might an answer for this seemingly unhappy again (Wagner,Boro, Siewert) footballer be that he finds another club that is willing to match the wages we're paying him, and to match his opinion of himself. Probably wouldn't be in this country (Div 1 or 2 with money?) but might be something abroad...

I think he has been reasonably professional with his comments. If I had been left out of the squad and saw Quaner put in I think I too would throw a wobbler

Not sure what is wrong with what VLP has done here? I imagine he was getting a lot of messages asking if he was injured. Seem to remember Palmer doing this in the premier league season and Mounie back end of the season.
It is liked by a good number of ex and current players and its appear that Jan is the problem rather than the players.

Aye but last pre-season Wagner bollocked him on at least two occasions that I saw for showboating and he rarely played after that.

Assuming that's genuine, what planet do these lads think they're on?
They play for HTFC, up North, where supporters don't really take to stuff like this.
Any other industry and they'd find themselves out of work come Monday, or at the very least severely disciplined and on the slippery slope.
I'm not even talking about the Mgr, I'm talking about the Chairman stepping in here.
Disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour.
Thing is, the daft Bastard isn't intelligent enough to realise that even in the daft world of pro football where some things get a blind eye turned, it will still limit his options for a move.
I've always valued aptitude over attitude. You can of course have positives in both of those, but if the attitude is bad you're better off getting rid...

He can be frustrating as hell, but at least he causes the other side problems and can get us up the pitch. Whod have thought when we went up to the prem, that over 2 years later we'd still have Quaner on the pitch?!!
