It’s a while since we have been prominent in the media - there’s sure to be lots of interest in our game on Saturday. Be great if we go into this game on the back of getting 3 points tonight!

I do believe Neil will give it 100% but after tonight not even his experience can be expected to turn this round.
I hope I'm wrong but I can't see it.
I've changed my vote.

Well Neil - It’s auld Westie here from The Whisky Isle in Bonnie Scotland.... It’s what we folks up here would call - “The wee sma’ hours” - and I’m relaxed and chilling out at 4am in front of a good open flame fire, with a glass of Balvenie Malt and listening to 60’s and 70’s music and only the waves lapping in gently off the Lochindall rocky shoreline 300 yards down the road at the front for company, and the Atlantic rollers constant sound 3 miles to the west roaring into Kilchoman Beach at the back for company as I take a wee dander round the garden to stretch the old legs from time to time... It’s beautiful, therapeutic, peaceful, calm and idyllic - the polar opposite of what you are going into the building at Huddersfield Town to face in a few hours time !
Just to wish yourself and your assistant Ronnie all the very very best from now until May and beyond weather yous are at Town or not...
Will yous pull off the ultra miracle and keep ma beloved Huddy Town in The Championship ? -
Who knows - it won’t be easy but The HTAFC fans are with you every step of the way on this road trip...
Slainte Math - And every good wish in your second stint at ma beloved Huddersfield Town !
Fae Westie in Bonnie Scotland !!! 🥃 ⚽️ 🏴 ⚽️ 🥃

Maynard can you confirm if he has turned up please? Must be a chance he doesn't bother after watching those clowns run around last night.

Maynard can you confirm if he has turned up please? Must be a chance he doesn't bother after watching those clowns run around last night. Would wager he’s been there since 8am this morning. Lots of work to do and after last night, he’ll be under to illusion to that. Players should be rightly concerned this manager isn’t afraid to ball players out if it comes to it. It’s tin hats in the trenches time and for players to stand up and be counted and to get stuck in. No more racing around like headless chickens with little or no idea as to what they’re supposed to be doing.

AN OLD CODGERS VIEW
I have seen some shit teams , managers and owners at this club in my 62 years following this wonderful club, but this squad rank as the worst i have seen for many a reason
What makes matters worse is the fact that most players lack a basic footballing brain and certainly the majority are not of the championship quality required to keep town at this level.
Warnock needs to take the squad back to basics and start by making the most of the multi million pound luxury training facilities the club has to offer
What hasnt helped is how bad the club has been run this season by those at the top who the fans rely on the most , and we must always remember how painstakingly hard it has been at times for all concerned to get to this level from the lower leagues
Warnock appointment seems to be viewed by many as some kind of get out of jail card but keeping town in the championship will no doubt rank among the hardest tasks he has ever undertake in his long years
We wish him well

I think all this just proves how vital a good head coach manager is. Seems the club had got to thinking they could give anyone a go. I'm clinging to the hope that the team is so bad because it's been managed by a half wit for most of the season. Let's not forget their head coach started his tenure by watching the subs warm up at half time rather than giving some sort of team talk. That's a decent barometer to his suitability to the role imo. Last night's team looked horrendous on paper and so it proved to be but there might just be enough for Warnock to work with. Injuries certainly aren't helping either, nor is wasting January bringing in the likes of Waghorn and Kamberi. I wonder if there are any free agents that could do a job. Based on the last two games the keeper is going to be a weak spot too.

I presume today Neil will be doing interviews etc, whilst I'd like him to be getting stuck into the players instead I think we the fans need some of his man-management skills after last night and a good interview may gave us some kind of hope however small.

Think all Town fans know that Warnock has 1 hell of a task on his hands, to steer Town to safety, with the players he has at his dispoal to work with.

Probably left it too late as he should've been in at the end of January, but a result at Burnley would massively turn the tide.

Episode 1 was just what we needed - a battling win with 15 minutes of time added on. On another day under a different manager we would have lost this! But under the guidance of Colin, we got over the line to take three points and a glimmer of hope for the next 14 episodes. General Warnock (defender of the faith) will realise that one battle won doesn't meant the war is won and will prepare our boys for the battles that lay ahead. The great escape part 2 has commenced - Game on. UTT

Looking at the fixtures we have left, my personal opinion is this appointment is probably too little too late. I am however judging those fixtures based on how each team has looked so far, rather than maybe how things look going forward, and there's always a good smattering of shock results at the business end of any season.
I do still firmly believe that, should we find ourselves safe after game 46, then this will rival any of the achievements that Warnock has had in his career.

Burnley aside, I haven't seen a decent team in the championship this year.
Boro at home will be tough, the form they are in, but apart from that I don't see the fixtures being tough.
Warnock will have us organised, more direct and picking up alot of points against evenly matched teams. There's still pretty much a 3rd of the season left and we are parr on points with Wigan, Blackpool, Rotherham 2 in front.
Luton, Sunderland, and Millwall are all in the top 6. 3 average teams that id fancy us to beat on any given day.

I’m just hoping we give it a real go and don’t just roll over. I think we need at least 5 more wins but I can’t see us achieving that with the fixtures we have left. If Warnock kept us up, it would certainly rank as his greatest achievement and would be a greater achievement than our escapes in 1998 and 2020. (I still think nothing would beat our 12 wins in last 16 to stay up in 1993.)

In one training session Warnock has started to remove the negativity and lack of confidence that Fozzy installed in the players, played the young keeper Bilo instead of a crock which begs the question why was he brought in.sets up two goals for two more young and enthusiastic players who want to play for Warnock. Looking at the fixtures I think we can win at least 6 games and maybe surprise a few of the top teams under Warnock. Think it will still be tight but if anyone can help save us Warnock can
