I'm surprised the number of people saying Rudoni here; I don't think anyone can deny for 75% of the season he looked totally out of his depth and didn't offer anyhting in the form of assist/goals which a player of his position should be adding. If we're applauding effort then Kasumu should be up there with the same affinity. For me in terms of doing their task and performance I think the shortlist has to be: Lees Pearson Maybe Helik Koroma Lees I think doesn't get talked about as much but he is a warrior at the back and I cant recall any individual errors from him that cost us Helik has got better under warnock and as above releives pressure with his marauding runs Pearson is solid, a proper defender but also scored some very important goals. Koroma - almost single handedly shaped our attack and been an icnredlible outlet that no side has been able to handle; albeit for 15 games only. I'd personally go Koroma or Pearson I can deny it. And Lees was shit for most of the season and 2 of your others have only started playing well since Colin took over. Absolutely agree Porroh. It is a player of the season award - not player of the spring months award. Pearson and Koroma have done well recently but should be nowhere near this award.

Rudoni for me. Young player coming into a club in turmoil (from the Boardroom to the dugout) and also having to step up a level He always grafts and even when things weren't coming off for him he never hid from the ball - that shows bravery for me He's also moved position numerous times and wherever he's asked to play just rolls his sleeves up and cracks on. Great pro I know it has nothing to do with the award but he seems a really nice lad too. I was watching him signing things for kids when he arrived on Thursday in the Access All Areas video, all smiles. The way he talked up Kian Harratt in the interview after, I think it was the Watford game, and he had no reason to do that other than he felt in needed saying. With all that was happening at the end of Thursday night he still ran over to the Kilner Bank and gave a youngster his shirt. Absolute star.
