Remember when everyone was happy with relegation from the prem cos we will win more next season? Then had a shock when we very nearly dropped straight down again. That's the more likely scenario again this time with this garbage squad. To think we will even make the play offs is delusion. Everyone knows the limitations of the squad; AB has been shouting about this more than enough!! What now matters is whether the management team carry out the necessary total squad rebuild over the summer. Until we see the shape of next season's squad there is no point in speculating, nevermind thinking, about next season! Enjoy the cricket meanwhile!!

I’ve come to terms with this amazingly quickly. It’s not like previous relegations imo. I think lots of us have been resigned to this happening for a while. It’s to a very large degree self inflicted and the culmination of a series of bad decisions and poor judgment made by the club. We can debate these decisions but the fact is that just about every senior executive involved with the running of the club over the last 5 years has played a part - some more than others. The atmosphere in the ground for the most part this season, has been poor as we sat there witnessing our continued decline. Personally, I have faith that KN, with a season of observations and learning under his belt, is going to prove to be successful. I don’t dwell on the past. Planning for the new season will hopefully already be underway and if it means we have to watch League 1 football for a season ( hopefully only 1 ) to enable us to return to the Championship stronger and more competitive then so be it. I could have written this myself Overton. Exactly how I feel. I've said to a couple of people at work that this has been 5 years in the making. I've already been accosted by the Sadford fan at work but at least I was quick enough to reply "and we still won't be playing you next season". Between 2 and 4 new grounds for me, depending on play-offs, think 10 for my son.

Think positive. We may actually get an FA Cup run! It probably just means we'll get eliminated from the FA Cup twice in the same calendar year

Mine was the lad behind the bar at The Liversedge, second hand. Mam, dad and sis went there for Sunday dinner yesterday (I usually go with them) and first thing he said was "Son not with you? In mourning?" Sis (L***s fan) said "He's still at the house he ended up sleeping at last night, nothing to do with football. Oh and he'll STILL not be at Wally Charade!"

I don’t know about anyone else, but as time passes and I start to accept the position we find ourselves in, I find myself growing more optimistic. My thoughts turn to what lies ahead and how we could make the most of it. Hoping some others are starting to feel this way too - I really believe if we go with two up front at the weekend we could actually overturn this 15 goal deficit!

I certainly feel we can pull the 15 goals back, but think others will win by more! You have def cheered me up. Thank you.

Seen Town on 91 grounds so far. Might as well look forward to two or three new ones to add to the list next season! Stevenage! Bring it on. Stevenage nothing to look forward to. Went there on a Tuesday night last time we were in league one. Seem to think we were two nil up and ended up 2-2. JULIAN!

I've thought for a while now that we would be relegated, but there was a sudden realization once Sheff Wednesday won, and we could only manage a draw that it's actually felt real.
In one way, there was a sense of relief. The band aid has been ripped off and we can fully accept it. No need to analyze the results and permutations (and don't get me wrong, I'm more guilty than most by reading into every result, and what could potentially happen).
Just looking forward now to getting this weekend out of the way, then seeing what plays out

I can honestly say I walked out of Wembley two years ago with a feeling we were heading into a major period of uncertainty. I can't explain it but it just felt like everything that had gone before, the DH era if you like, had finally come to an end. I can still remember walking away with that feeling.
To that end I'm not at all surprised we ended up back in League One. As such I am not as annoyed as I might have been.
I do have a worry that things could continue to deteriorate but I also think there is a chance to turn us round ie it could go either way.
The slide must be addressed and we desperately need to escape the past. As good as some memories are we are still carrying the baggage of the decisions taken.
The sooner we go in a new direction the better. Is Mr Nagle the man? Only time will tell. He could be, but now is his time to really start making a real difference. I think I'll have a better idea over the next 12 months.
I still hope for the best but definitely worry about things not getting better.
