Sorry if there's a thread on here regarding the game at Elland Road. BUT when do the tickets go on sale? How many have we been allocated? What are the qualification categories and how much will they be?
Only being a Town season ticket holder, I have a terrible feeling I'm going to have to sit in a home area like last time.
Any info or link would be gratefully received!

From Official Site:
Town's ticket allocation for this local derby has increased from last year to 2,299, of which 1,628 are in the South East corner of the ground and 671 are in the South Stand. Please note that the South Stand allocation is for families and juniors only.
Tickets will be priced at £27 for adults, £17 for senior citizens and £13 for juniors. Junior concessionary prices will only initially be available in the South Stand.
Town will be implementing a tiered system of ticket sales as per last season, which is as follows:
Category 1
Season ticket holders who are also Blue and White Foundation members or Patrons and who have four ticket stubs from away games in the 2008/09 season.
Category 2
Season ticket holders who are also Blue and White Foundation members or Patrons or who have four ticket stubs from away games in the 2008/09 season.
Category 3
Season Ticket holders.
Category 4
Blue and White Foundation members, Patrons or those who have four ticket stubs from away games in the 2008/09 season.
Category 5
General sale.
Details of when tickets will be put on sale will follow on htafc.com and in local press next week.

Do you think I'd get a lynch mob outside my door if I ask around if any young boys or girls want to come to the match with me?

With the ESU open we are looking at a possible 39,000 sell out, the Revie stand and north east and north west corners are already sold out (unheard of this early, they haven't even gone on general sale yet) and the ticket office say they are expecting very high demand. Looks like it is our cup final after all. ;D

Last season it was a police decision I believe, nothing to do with the ESU, and for once not Bates' fault. I agree you should have more tickets, don't see why you don't have 4000 like Bradford had, makes for a better atmosphere. What is this Beckets thing? Are you claiming some sort of result or summat?

But if ER has a capacity of 39000, then the 'legal allocation' is 3900, not 3500, and not 2600. So, the question remains, why isn't the league specified minimum allocation up for sale?? Is it because thats all we've asked for? Or is it because Leeds are flouting football league regulations?

They are at the peak of their form and the only way is sideways....whereas we are just getting it together and I reckon by the time we visit the stadium of horror in November we will be on the of a very big . The champions, champions of Europe can't ask for the luck they had last season when our hero MG was suspended and Cadders missed a sitter as we played 'em off the park first half......so it will be a level playing field (despite the very poor state of the bellend road pitch) and a victory for the REAL football club (the FAMILY CLUB OF THE YEAR no less). The future's bright....the futures Blue and White!

Is it because thats all we've asked for? Or is it because Leeds are flouting football league regulations? probably segregation? Nope, can't be that, because LUFC were specifically told to put in place new segregation policies such that they would be in a position to meet Football League regulations before the end of last season, under threat of 'sanctions' being taken. And like you say, 4000 seats were given to Bradford earlier in the season, so how can there be a segregation issue that allows 4000 in from Bradford but allows less people in to the same ground at another game. Its quite obvious that EITHER the Elland Road hierarchy want to create an unfair advantage by selling tickets to home supporters at the expense of their obligations as members of the football league. OR We have asked for less tickets, and allowed Leeds to do what they did before and sell in adjacent areas PRIOR to our own tickets going on sale, so it won't be feasible to increase the allocation later if needs be, with the INTENTION that we sell out the smaller allocation and get more people in to a beamback in Hudds putting money into OUR club?? Not sure which option I think is most likely.
