How long would it take to walk from White Rose roughly? Were thinking of strolling on from there.

It's not our Cup Final, it's a Yorkshire Derby. You just have crap fans. Typical leeds fan who probably thinks Man United are there Main rivals. Idiot. 2-3 Love. Print screen it and save it and come back on the 15th.

Even spotted/chatted with some mates in the Leeds family end over the netting being used to segregate us.

really hope you beat Leeds. Always good to see teams at the bottom beat our promotion rivals. Super Sheridan!

I try not to get involved in the mud-slinging threads but for what its worth I'm gad you lot won today as Stan will keep his job for the Leeds game. I don't want to sound disrespectful but I think he result will depend upon which Leeds team turns up - We're generally very good at home, 7 straight wins supports that but we're average away from home, possibly playing with a young midfield that strugles in hostile environments. They tend not to have this trouble at Elland Road.
You're gonna need to have a solid, hard working midfield or else Delph, Douglas etc will dominate the entire game - We do allow ALL teams we play enough chances to keep themselves in the game, fortunately we tend to outscore them!!
Also to the postr who refers to the 3 straight titles was that game even recognisable to the game we all love today??? and can you find anybody who remembers it?? and people tell Leeds fans to stop living in the past...

On the travel front I'd advise Town Fans to catch a 'slow train' to Leeds calling at Mirfield, Batley Morley etc and get off at Cottingley (the stop after Morley).
It's a small station beside a housing estate. Walk through the estate, which has two tower blocks and down to Leeds Outer Ring Road. You should see the Drysalters pub on there. Take the right turn after the 'Salters' on to Elland Road. That route was very peaceful last season - no hassle!
It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the nearest 'White Rose Centre' (Debenhams) car park to Elland Road.
Hope that helps!

It's all in the past, in your case the more recent past but in the past it surely is. I'll admit Leeds Utd are still seen as a big club and I also admit I'm envious of your vocal support but don't dismiss Huddersfield Town fans matey. We have some of the most passionate fans in the country even though our recent history is not so glorious. Two things I'm looking forward to on the 15th is a good game and after it's all over, not having you and your patronising mates coming on here giving it large. AceT ;D

What a tolerant open minded lot we are by allowing Leeds Utd fans to post on these boards!
I joined their WACCOE site last season for some pre-match banter and first thing someone did (administrator perhaps?) was change my user name to something obscene and a few days later they banned me from posting altogether. For my part, I did nothing wrong other than correct them on a few key points such as 'We're not jealous of your football club' and 'In your so called glory years, Derby County won the League championship more times'. Obviously I had to ask them just when did they win the European Cup? But I don't call that offensive in any way - do you?
So yeah, I think we're a tolerant lot on here!

AceT ;D The exact same thing happened to me as regards wackyo. l**ds fans come on here and are generally treated with respect. I for one have no time for them. All my life they have tried to belittle Town fans, albeit without success in the Heavy Woolen District (Where the support has ALWAYS been about 50/50, whatever they say) The reason for such great support in Hecky/Hartshead/Roberttown/Cleck/mirfield etc is the FAMILY aspect of Towns support from days of yore. My Dad taught my older brother Graham that Town were the REAL football club.....Graham taught me at a very early age......I taught my younger brother Stuart......then obviously its passed down through generations too. I have no time or love for l**ds and never will, but that mustnt be contrewed as hatred, as I have many friends who follow l**ds, but their love for l**ds never seems to match our love of Town, which althougth may only be a PERCEPTION, makes me proud to be a Town fan.
