Today, was disgusting. There were absolutely no positives to take from it, at all. No, I'm not a doom and gloom merchant, but I've not been happy with any performance in the league this season, at home. We as paying fans have to right to boo, it's a personal choice. I have booed performances in the past, but not today, I can't be arsed anymore. IF THE PLAYERS CAN'T BE ARSED TURNING UP AND PUTTING 100% EFFORT IN, THEN NEITHER CAN I. Nobody can accuse me of not being a real fan, HTFC is all I've known since day-dot, and have travelled everywhere with them. At the start of the season, I wasn't expecting promotion or even a good season, I support Huddersfield Town, we should know never to "expect" anything other than disappointment. I will not be going next Saturday, I have better things to do and spend my money on. Except for Leeds, I will not be going to an away game until Stan has gone. I sung Ternent Out today, in fact I started it down the bottom. I don't like the man, never wanted him in the first place and haven't seen ANYTHING to suggest he is the right man for the job. His man management and style of football, are just not right for us. He is well past his sell-by date. Incidently, can anyone tell me what successes he's had, 3 promotions in 30 years?! 1 every 10 years?! He has to go before we end up in a relegation battle. Worthington, how the HELL did he get MOTM, and how the hell is he playing. He can't pass, tackle-he offers nothing to our team. I used to like him, but lately, he's been crap. His passes never end up at a town players feet. Much rather have Holdsworth in the centre.

he is also part of the ferguson " mafia " , certain managers like stan are well known to be like yes men to fergie, others include jewel, steve bruce , roy keane and others. They all keep well in with him, if stan survives the next month watch him get a few loans from man utd in january as fergie helps all these managers out ..

No positives?? Scored 3 goals, 2 very good ones. We won, last minute goal- always nice We looked fine til they scored
I got the impression that people wanted us to lose today which to me is just ridiculous. WE WON

reading the comments on crewe site from their manager.... they had us watched at peterboro and commented on how we got tore to bits by pace and how slow our defence was, they say thats what they tried to do today by getting around theback of us with pace.... not rocket science is it. our weakness is very apparent.

So Franklin, you were happy with that level of performance?!
We scored 3 against BOTTOM OF THE TABLE, I should hope that we are able to beat the worst team in the league rather comfortably considering our transfer pot and wage bill. After going 2-0 up, and conceding 2 against Crewe, shows there is something seriously wrong.
OK, we won, that was the only positive I took from today.

my opinion of today... well the most striking thing was how easily that guy got past our non-existent defence three times... luckily Glennon stopped him the first time... but to let him do exactly the same another two times and score....

Obviously everybody is entitled to an opinion, that's what these boards are for. However, for me the biggest disappointment this season is how our crowd 'turns' during games when things don't go right. Isn't that the time to show solidarity and support? You could say they're just reacting to what they see in front of them but when fans start shouting abuse at their own manager and players then it's pretty serious in my view. We can come on here and have a go or vent some spleen but to actually, verbally abuse our manager and players at games is a wholly different thing. Personally I think it's a disgrace! Like I say, people are entitled to their opinion but could someone please tell me what they hope to achieve by shouting insults. Footballers have always said that the crowd can be an inspiration for them to play better and to find that little bit extra when the going gets tough. Does that fact alone not matter? Is it still okay to spend most of the game giving out negative vibes and shouting insults? I think not! And if anyone thing could ever stop me from following Town, an ugly, negative miserable crowd is top of the list. I could go on...but please, those of you who take part in manager/player baiting at games, try to consider that other fans find it totally ridiculous. It doesn't mean you're showing more passion for our club than anyone else it merely shows you need another outlet in life to vent your anger. Why not try kickboxing or something similar? You'd be World Champions in no time! AceT

IF THE PLAYERS CAN'T BE ARSED TURNING UP AND PUTTING 100% EFFORT IN, THEN NEITHER CAN I. So, to recap - if the players dont put the effort in then you cannot be arsed to put the effort into BOOING? Un-fookin-believable!!!!!! Bell end

Basil, read it again you fuckwit, it CLEARLY states "turning up".
What part in that sentence does it mention booing?
If the players can't be arsed putting any effort in, then I can't be arsed travelling and wasting my time, money and effort trying to support them.
Clear enough for you, moron?

apologies, i should have included it in the list. All the personal insults are a bit much really. We were crap but we won, the real test is the next few weeks and where we go from here. A win is a positive and we need to kick on now.

I wouldn't really blame my parents, they'd be pretty annoyed to see me call you that I think...
But I felt you deserved it, trying to change things in the quote and trying to make me look stupid, then having the gaul to call me a bell end for something I didn't even say...

Forgive me for being a 'fuckwit' as you put it but I read you post above to mean that you've booed before but couldn't be arsed yesterday - you then go onto to say if the players cannot be arsed turning up and putting 100% effort in then you couldn't also.
So could you or could you not put in the effort to boo the players yesterday???

It's two totally different things Basil..
I don't boo at the matches anymore, it makes no difference whatsoever to the team. But after bad performances for a certain period of time, the players and management deserve it, just to let them know it's not acceptable.
I go on to say "If the players aren't turning up" and by turning up, I mean being on the pitch and giving 100%.
I am a fan, not a player, so my effort goes in to supporting and singing for the team. But if I'm not getting anything back, then I'm not going to bother giving 100% anymore until something changes.
Forgive me for being a "bell end" as you put it, but the initial comment you quoted was in regards to me not turning up, nothing about booing.
So if you want to mis-read things and misinterpret them and dish at personal abuse for no reason, then expect it back.

as on another thread on the board, there was no need to call him a bel-end. it shows you cannon get your point across without resorting to insults sign of un-intelligence

People need to look at what they type if they dont want it to be misconstrued!!! I totally disagree with booing and am allowed an opinion - comments by a jumped up jerk off will not change that

Basil, YOU misconstrued what I posted, mixed 2 totally separate sentences together to make an argument which is totally invalid. It wasn't me who misconstrued anything, you are obviously so thick you cannot read, that's the feeling I'm getting anyway.
Throughout this debate/argument I am yet to see a substantial point you are trying to make...
Your 'point' is about me booing, yet you quoted me saying I can't be arsed turning up, Errr Hello Mr Logic. I said I won't TURN UP, if the players can't be bothered to.
The comment you quoted originally had NOTHING about booing in....
In the sentence PREVIOUS to that, I talked about booing; argue that point with me if you will...but don't lie and make things up and then have to gaul to insult me for it.
If you want to carry on with the insults Basil: "jumped up jerk off", showing off your almighty intelligence, then carry on...they don't bother me, it's just making you look thick and unable to debate a point without backing it up.

If you dont understand the point I'm trying to make then perhaps its you who's the thicko!!!!!!
''I have booed performances in the past, but not today, I can't be arsed anymore''
So you couldn't be arsed to boo!!!!!!
Nothing misconstrued about that sentence to me - reads loud & clear.
