Hes got pace , but im afraid thats it , if he goes to another club he will just be the same im afraid. shame coz hes a smashing personality and loves the town fans, hes someone you cant help liking. Maybe he will get a go tomorrow and really impress Clark... stranger things have happened. Good luck to him whatever happens, great character and seems really geniune bloke !!

As people have said, if he gets back into the team - it'll be on merit.
So, let's give him a chance to impress Clark, and see what happens!

The clean slate idea is the best one... including Flynn.. it's up to the players to perform and get selected.... (and I still think we will play Malv up front again at some stage tomorrow...) I don't understand why Flynn is so unpopular. He scored goals from midfield regularly, something people have been crying out for for years?

LOL! Come on children - why do we have to make opinions of players? Surely they all have something to prove, and im sure Clark will give ALL the team a game at some point. Let Malvin prove us wrong! The poor lad!

He needs good coaching, something Im not sure hes had enough of. Someone to teach him how to play the game. How to time a run, what kind of run to make, when to cross it, when not , How to hurt the opposition more etc etc. The pace and the good attitude is there in abundance already , if he can improve these things just a little bit, he'll be a very good player to have in the squad Totally agree with you Cslaps.I`m hoping that Kamara is going to become the player that I think he can.I like him.

It's a job for Blackie, if he can get inside Malvins head he might just make a player of him. If not it's the Blue Square followed by a proper job for Malv. He's certainly got potential.

If Malvin does become a regular under Lee and dereck it doesnt bode well for our future development imo. If Malvin becomes a regular in the team it will be the result of the world's first successful limb and nervous system transplant. He has no control, whatsoever, over his own bodily functions.

This time last season, a poll showed our best three players for the season were holdsworth, glennon and kamara. The 1st two came 1st and 2nd in the player of the year poll, kamara fell away in 2008.
As hudds says, he'd scored 5 goals, 3/4 winners, and caused no ends of problems for teams - most fouled player, most crosses etc, most yellow cards for fouls on him etc.
Looking back, he shouldn't have played v birmingham. He failed a fitness test at 1pm that day - played at 3pm and ran his socks off.
After that, he faded, confidence dropped, fans got on his back and was half the player. But get the platyer from the 1st 20 games last season, and you're onto a winner.

I don't mind Flynn... but he is in exile for 'some reason'... so a clean slate may give him a chance to get back into the fold....
