Goodwin has been Good/Steady from day one.Ok there has been a minor blip here and there but not that many to be bothered about. He has just got better and better,GOODIER AND STEADIER. If he had been booked for his kissing the badge display, nice one JG, then their GK should have been booked for kicking the ball at the kids in the FS afyter Roberts beat him to the net

Superb header and what a time for it! Goodwin does the dirty work that all good teams need and is never gonna be a crowd favourite but is an important cog in the town machine

These boo boys really need to wake up.
How many game have we lost? 2 in the last 9 or something?
That to me is bloody excellent form. I know Lee Clark and the gang have only had 2 or 3 games together but i feel Town are gonna go places with this setup.
So to all those that boo our (my) team i've just got one thing to say,
SHUT THE FCUK UP WILL YA?
TTID
TaP

I honestly think people post about our own fans booing as a wind up. I can never hear it myself That makes two of us. The one time when he is supposed to have bucket loads of abuse the fans were actually booing the decision to award him MOM after he had a stinker and had misplaced a pass moments before if I remember rightly. He certainly looks like he has got over it and so should everyone else. Matter of fact the booing has helped him improve. Lets dish it out to one or two others for the good of the team . Bloody good header too ;D. make that 3, plus 2 either side of me. Jim Goodwin just seems to get better with every game, I think he must have covered every blade of grass today, but not just that have u noticed how he talks to the rest of the team, IMO he would make a good captain.

He picked his game up no end from Carlisle where he was poor throughout. 1st half he was a bit hit and miss I thought. Worked really hard and got some good tackles in but also gave away some clumsy free kicks in dangerous positions and almost cost us a goal with a terrible pass straight to their man that lead to the goal they had dissallowed. 2nd half he was terrific. Worked his socks off and played a big part in the win even ignoring his goal. His best 45 minutes for the club so far.

Ive praised him plenty of times before. When hes played well generally but Im not one that will say how great he is no matter if hes just had a poor/average game. I quite like the guy. He has a great attitude, is a fantastic trainer by all accounts, and looks like hes relishing playing for this club. Didn't rate him at all under Ternent but since that great motivator and tactician left Goodwins improved a lot. Hes a bit hit and miss as a player but if he puts in shifts like the 2nd half today hell do for me. ;D
