He very rarely gets involved in the game, and he can go whole halves without influencing or even realsing he is there. Roberts didn't seem too happy with him yesterday either.

I think Collins's game is in the amount of ground he covers. Quite a lot of the time he is stood in the way of a pass through midfield, so it appears that he is doing nothing. Sometimes it's really hard to tell as you have to be in line with the pass to see what he is doing. There is more to do in midfield than making challenges and passing well.
Look at all the games he has played so far, teams haven't passed through midfield, they have to run through midfield. When they start to run through midfield, that is what Goodwin is good at.
