The wage bill was full when Dickinson was here but he's gone. Beckett still counts as we've had to pay him contract up. If 1 or 2 others go that would clear some space.

Plus Kamara has had a month away, as has Tom Clarke. Denton and Eastwood have gone for 2 months and Killock is away.
Throw in the Jones and Dickinson wages that were in when we were maxed out and there should be room for a couple of players to come in.
And thats before you consider any players that might leave, I should imagine Glennon would go to get a game, and all the signs are that Worthington doesn't fit in with Clarks plans...I'd expect one of Flynn or Worthy to go before next season, as things stand there doesn't seem much point in them being here?

If we were paying a quarter of £3k a week for him, Ternent needs arresting. He proved so insignificant that he totally slipped off my radar

Nothing against Worthy but I wouldnt be surprised to see him go on loan to help Jacko go for the playoffs at lincoln... he would do a great job... and not being sarcastic.

Don't take that at face value. He may be being truthful, but it's hard to believe given that we bid £850k for Stead; over £500k of that must still be available... We've managed to afford two Championship loanees (therefore, must be some space for wages) and got rid of Beckett (who I'm 99% sure we agreed a deal with; so unlikely to have paid up his whole contract). The only slight doubt is how much it cost us to get rid of Stan and his team.

The wages come out of a separate bucket to the transfer fees though.

Danny Graham is possible but unlikely with preston in the hunt, he is gonna go to preston over us, more money thats what motivates players, and preston will be able to pay more.
Alan Gow...............Gammy hip, no just no, not worth the risk to pay out more money for a potential crock.
Malvin...........well we can all keep our fingers crossed

Graham is off to Pne for money plus Ormerod. I think Gow is just too good to be true.

A work colleague of mine is amongst four guys who have a corporate box at Blackpool (apparently they do have them!) and he tells me that the facts of the Gow deal with them were that Blackpool were going to make him the highest paid player in the club's history - at £9k per week. Wolves were offering more and he is on a very decent wedge at Rangers.
Alan Gow will not be coming to HTAFC - the budget goes nowhere near that!

Wolves were gonna pay £500.000 for him i think. If a player fails on a biomechanical issue then its to do with the way they walk or run. The most common one is being flat footed or something else to do with the arches in the foot - Loads of players have problems with this and for it to be a stumbling block for a transfer is rare as it is usually corrected with orthotics. Sorry to be a geek but what im trying to say is if its a biomechanical problem then he should almost certainly pass a league one medical

Mick McArthy said it was a problem that could be easily remidied but it was still enough to make Wolves change their mind

i know it is the parent clubs choice but wouldn't Graham have been rested for the Leeds game and if a deal had been agreed that wouldn't he have said goodbye to the fans
