I 'd like to extend a warm welcome to supporters who are travelling to Leicester on Saturday. We are a Sports & Social Club, situated half way between the railway station and the Walkers Stadium, and well behaved visiting supporters are more than welcome to visit us for a drink and a bite to eat before the game. We are off the main routes to the ground and therefore do not attract passing trade, which ensures we keep the club reserved for those who enjoy good hospitality. We have a range of drinks including Real Ales; and Hot & cold food is also served. There is free admission to guests and all I ask is that people inform me of their intention to visit us a day or so in advance - need to make sure we've got enough supplies in ! Please e-mail me direct at regentclub@hotmail.com for the address and further details.

The gateway pub near the hospital ( handy ) is supposed to be a big pub that welcomes away fans... also street parking... and then 10 min walk to the stadium..

they`l be arranging something some where,as long as they pick on each other and keep away from fans out for a good day out, then it should be a great day

Be careful before you get carried away with The Gateway pub - it has just reopened after being closed by environmental health inspectors due to mice taking over the frying pan in the kitchen!

I was rather hoping to hit the Hare and Hounds in Anstey for a pint or six of pedigree before making my way to St Nics circle to head for the RichardIII and then maybe the Weatherspoons across the road ;D

Just to keep you Terriers upto date, there will most likely be 3 real ales available on for the 24th at The Regent Club - Mansfield Cask @ £2.50, Jennings Cocker Hoop & Marstons 175 Not Out, both @ £2.70. Enjoy.

I know from previous seasons that SOME Terriers enjoy good ale and a bit of banter. For others there's always The Hind across the road from the station......
