I have been reading this forum for a while now and not felt the desire to post. I am concerned that Norwich may be in for Lee Clarke. I have heard from a source at Norwich that their board is looking at the possibilty at taking Clarke back to Norwich. He is highly regarded at Carrow road and they are now in the hunt for a new manager my source claims they are willing to part with £500 000 to get their man.
Any thoughts on this??
I for 1 dont want him to go.

His whole ethos seems to be based on honesty and loyalty, he'd completely ruin his reputation if he made a move like that so soon after coming here.

Why would Lee Clark, walk out on his first management job (after 1 month), after expensively assembling a great backroom team, leaving a club with money and ambition, to go to a club much further away from home, with no money, who are clearly on the way down.
Not a chance

lancsray, you are talking utter tosh! Do you seriously (now be honest with yourself now) think it will happen? Norwich may regret not losing Roeder sooner and offering Clark (no e) the job, however, that particular boat has sailed and is more than happy where he is. Norwich won't even embarrass themselves by enquiring!

Why leave a team that is obviously on the up , to one that has struggled for the last 2 seasons.Clark has taken a step up the ladder by coming here so why drop down again.

As Norwich are a division above and there is no guarantee they will go down or we will go up surely Norwich would be a step up. And I have it on good authority (a cameraman who works with Delia Smith) Says that Norwich are in negotiations with DIC previously linked with Liverpool. Meaning Clarke would have mega money to spend.

I think your all being a bit hard on the chap. I don't think it's likely to happen but it can be a worry non-the-less so there's no need to insult him.
The only reasonable response to this has been
"His whole ethos seems to be based on honesty and loyalty, he'd completely ruin his reputation if he made a move like that so soon after coming here."
Everything else has been a reason with an insult, or just the insult. A bit harsh in my opinion.
Suffice to say though, that it is extremely unlikely because of the reasons that have been given.

Can we lock this thread Admins This club is only intrested in talking and taking positive steps. Negative thread suggesting our newly appointed manager may move on is daft.

Its not impossible that he could go back, I can't see why people are speaking like it is.
But personally, I think he is happy with the faith we have shown in him and taken him on and supported him with who else he has wanted to bring in.
The players have given him nothing but hard work since he came in too so he knows he is fully supported here. We have a better ground than Carrow Road as well and as previously mentioned, in Huddersfield he is closer to home.
He speaks of the future at Huddersfield Town a lot too so I think he should hopefully be settled with us.

Love how some people think we can get Leroy Lita and Ched Evans but dismiss this as drivel because its not what they want to hear.
I was gonna post the same Lancsray yesterday about the possibility of him going back, wouldn't be at all suprised. I haven't heard anything like yourself, just think its a realistic possibility.
