doesnt mean the county fans are right, there just posting what they know and we all know how it works on our board. were supposedly getting steve harper, ameobi etc and that we would have two strikers by the end of today. dont listen to everything everyone says The Manchester Evening News have suggested that it's us, too. It just fits, with what Geese has said ... Before the weekend, as well.

Cant get better than that at this level

Is it looking nailed on for Pilkington then, hes only 20 and has a good attacking reputation.... would be pleased if he does sign. Never known a time when Hudds Town is mentioned in most transfer rumours from championship down..... amazing !

It would be extremely unfair for cads to be dropped IMO!!!! Surely he would just push up front, and leave it for the new strikers to fight for their place!

Cadamarteri's been fantastic recently. I'd say that should Pilkington come in, he wouldn't necessarily stroll into the team - there'd be some real competition on the wings, as there is in centre midfield.
Cadamarteri's a real impact player and bringing him on late on can really give weary opposition defences something to think about.

Can't see Pilkington signing for us to be honest. If hes that good and going for quite cheap as they have no money then surely a championship club would be putting a bid in for him.
I hope the other one isn't Dickinson, i would prefer any other striker from the championship.

Hold my hands up re Danny.... I was very critical of all his injurys and attitude but in the recent run in the team he has been class, superb and an absolute pain to other teams... long may it continue.

My mate who supports Donny Rovers has heard that they're interested ins igning Billy Sharp as well so it could be that Sharp is up for grabs.

If we are getting three I would expect one to be a defender because we are a little light on reliable options at the heart of the defence. Clarke & Butler's form is good but I dread to think what could happen when one is not available.

Pilkington, Dickinson, Phillips!!! Now that would be worth celebrating!!! Yeah, what happened to the Phillips rumour ?? Did I miss something ?? That coaching position thing seemed to give the rumour credibility, then it went away. Whatever, I'm looking forward to logging on tomorrow morning when it should all be done and dusted !!

If this does go through, surely that puts us out of the race for Gallagher? £550k + £1million would be beyond our means?

Antich- can you please tell Chazza the name of players? no chance of her keeping it secret!!! **moves over to nonsense board and waits** Looks like we have quite a number of secret Nonsense Board readers! Guilty pleasure? No need for all this Chazza bashing! There are plenty on DATM who could do with a lesson in spelling & grammar, many much older than Chaz. Any news, Mr Geese? Thanks Andy

What time do signings generally get announced? Midday? I hope I didn't confuse you when I said morning ?? I meant morning California time, which would be about 3 o'clock in the afternoon your time - 3 excellent signings all done and dusted. Mind you, Geese did say he'd buy me a pint one time and never showed up due to some paltry excuse. Then he changed his name ;D ;D See if that goads him back onto this thread !!!
