Id assume that means roberts is perhaps on the way out? or we might finally have competition for both wide men.

Surely one of them is Carole? The other - who knows. Pilkington has been linked with Bolton, Wigan and Preston with talk of £1m.

Could be switching Roberts to Right, Pilkington on Left, He might think Cadders can do the Biz up front?!?!

Could this be Lee Clark's tactics:
Dickinson Cads up front with Roberts and Pilkington on the wings (they can both play on either wing...so would lead to versatile tactics...)
Dicko would be the main scorer whilst Cads would be used to cause chaos...Jevons could also be a support striker with his clever link up play and movement..

I don't think it'll be Dickinson. I think it'll be much better.

Correct, would be very disruptive to opposition defences if the wing men were switching sides. Is Pilkington good defensively? Maybe Clark is thinking about giving some cover for the less defensively astute Wurlitzer.

If its Pilkington and Ainsworth ( and I was told yesterday it is) then neither are the out and out striker we desperately need as I understand it. Aren't both wide men, which is great to have competition but we already have 2 of the best wide men in the division on current form. Ill welcome the signings but Im a little too as its a STRIKER this team needs ASAP, and ideally two. 2 more wingers, another left back- its great to make signings but we seem to be strengthening areas of the team that don't really need strengthening

Don't think it'll be him.

If we get a really good forward in, we'd possibly play a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Roberts, Cad and Pilkington swapping in and out of being in the hole or being wide on either side.
Throw Cad at the defenders to wear them down with his physical presence, then swap over and let Roberts cast his spells, and throw in whatever Pilkinton brings (I've no idea!?)
Wouldn't fancy defending against them, especially with Werling hopefully reminding Holdsworth what he did so well last season - this could be the most finely balanced Town team in YEARS.

seems to be a pattern in terms of what RL say and when, with the signing thing only being mentioned at 35mins past each hour rather than just past the hour.........so may be more info in a few mins.......perhaps.........just wish the club would hurry up n announce who the signings are!
